- The Clemson Tigers fell in the Orange Bowl, 31-14 to Tennessee. Clemson dominated time of possession and ran over 100 offensive plays in the game, but the Tigers struggled to convert points against a tough Volunteers defense. Tigers QB Cade Klubnik completed 30 of 54 passes for 320 yards, rushed for 51 yards and a touchdowns, but tossed 2 interceptions in the loss. Will Shipley rushed for 72 yards and had 21 yards receiving for Clemson. Quarterback Joe Milton III threw for 251 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Volunteers to the win in the Orange Bowl.

Wasn't any surprise to me...Vols are a beast... I was worried because we were playin without our top 2 receivers and starting QB...if we had those the Vols would have hung 50 on Clemson

Milton has a nuclear missile as an arm, needs to work on knowing its okay to throw the ball away sometimes and make quicker decisions but hes got potential thats very evident.
This was his best game out of the 19 that he started in college football

I would of loved to of seen Hooker's offense with Hyatt and Tillman in the WR rotation. The way that offense clicked makes this offense look amateur. Looking forward to seeing Milton mature into an elite QB next season.
I’d suggest reviewing some games. Whenever Tillman played the TN offense performed worse.

If you do not allow I will be in touch with your office. The sec network which you were partnered with allows for third party views. So it’s either I get the content from the acc or sec it’s your choice.
Dear ACC Digital: your logo at the bottom of the picture scree blocks the score and all the 'game' info from us viewers. What did you do that for--we can't see the score or the quarters info!
They could have taken it down for one second at the beginning of each play and it would have been no problem. Without that information it's like just watching a bunch of random plays.

The worst part about watching this game after 6 months, Clemson had so many yards and moved the ball relatively successfully. As much hate as Cade got in this game. He played as well as the system let him. Play calling in the red zone by streeter was horrendous. Clemson fans should be excited for the upcoming year.

The SEC has lost 3 bowl games so far and scraped by in another. They are not light years ahead of everyone else. Tennessee would never beat Clemson at their best. You beat them in a season they lost to both Notre Dame and South Carolina. They always beat both those teams when they are good. It's not really a bragging victory.

Surprised Tennessee didn’t win by more. Outside of FSU, the ACC sux and gets exposed with they play legit teams from other conferences. Clemson lost to Tenn, South Carolina, and got demolished by Notre Dame. Had they been I. The SEC or Big Ten, they probably wouldn’t even qualify for a bowl.
It’s not a big factor but our top receivers didn’t play and he had the back up QB (hopefully starting QB next year)

In fact, the commentators pre-game were saying that this was going to be a touch game for the Vols to win b/c of all of their players who wouldn't be playing. So at most, it was a wash. Klubnick was the best option for Clemson. Had DJ still been around and played, the game would have been even uglier. I agree that Klubnick is a solid young QB, and had he played all season (and gotten all that experience), Clemson would have had a much better shot at winning. I hope he turns out to be a good QB because it would be nice for college football to see a legitimately competitive Clemson team.

They were getting alot of calls. Just didnt matter. Were poking our D lineman in the eyes multiple times. Refs were hindering our offense in the first half and then flagged our coach for calling it out.
