Hi Tampa Jay, thanks for sharing your video about the the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City!
😮 y'all couldn't pay enough to walk the streets of NYC or Brooklyn! 😂 Ty for showing us the bridge @night
I get that, I’m surprised tho of how many police officers are present in nyc compared to most other cities I walk around in.
be careful of weird propaganda political news, every city has an issue
and NYC is gorgeous at night
@@SUPERSCHMOO weird propaganda political news like CNN and MSNBC ? My city has been destroyed
Hello. I’m from Brooklyn. I go back n forth to Florida. Even as a tourist it is safe if you stay in popular well lit areas. Of course there are neighborhoods you shouldn’t be in at night. NY is a safe place if you’re just a little mindful. So much to experience. 👋🏽
Safe travels Jay! Thanks for sharing!
I LOVED this video!! Thanks for sharing NYC with us at night! Beautiful!!
All those beautiful night time shots gave me lots of Night Court vibes, one of my favorite 80s tv shows!
Thanks for the evening tour of NYC, Brooklyn & Manhattan Jay. I really enjoy the sites of the evening :) It is so much better at night. The perspectives and art you ran across are great as well.
Cool stuff! Fav city in the world ➡️
My high school group went to NYC back in the spring of 1974. We took the Staten Island ferry at night to see the Manhattan skyline. It was beautiful. The wildest part was seeing the outline of the World Trade Center Towers. They were completed but not occupied so they were completely dark. Saw the musical "Irene" with Jane Powell. Saw Empire State Building. Saw celebrities going into a movie theater for grand opening of "Great Gatsby". Saw Art Fleming of early Jeopardy and heard him complain about the intense crowds. Thanks for the memories ♥️
Loving this night shoot video, great view of the bridge, always bringing us the different interesting VIDEO.
DAMN !!! SO GLAD TO SEE YOU HERE IN NYC , WISH I WOULD'VE KNOWN YOU WERE COMING. HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE....
Awesome vidoe Jay, I would LOVE to go to New York one day. Definitely on my bucket list. Looks sooooo amazing!!! 🤘🤘🗽🔥🔥
Beautiful views of the city! Never been there, likely never will. I can't believe that you ate that whole pizza! Have a good time and stay safe out there!
Wow- what an amazing video!! I was born in Brooklyn(1959) but moved to the suburbs(1960-1967) then to Clearwater FL(1969-1973). Now living in TX. I have never experienced what you shared in your video- I could imagine the delicious aroma in Grimaldis-thank you !!
So beautiful at night!
Cool..my hometown ❤
Your camera shots under the bridges by the water reminds me of the cover to Type O Negative's World Coming Down album. RIP Pete Steele. He's buried in a cemetery around there. 💚🖤💚🖤
THANKS ABSOLUTELY GREAT VIEWS NOTHING LIKE NY AT NIGHT STELLER SCENERY
Love that city so much! Not as sketchy, and scary as some people make it out to be! If you wanna take the train over the Manhattan Bridge, you can take the N or the Q. And the B or D trains.
Tampa Jay, last year, the Brooklyn Bridge celebrated 140th anniversary!
Cool video . Your video are cool
"Very small of coarse" 😂 Love the "Titanic " nod.
Omg this was cool to watch! That pizza looked delicious. NY pizza is the best! Beautiful views of the NYC skyline. I also think NYC looks better at night with the lights. Looking at the shots you took reminded me of so many films that were filmed there or around that area. "You can't park here" Ghostbusters 2! lol
I've been waiting for this all day! So fun fact, while that's the "original" Grimaldi's, the building it's currently in was not the original spot. That was a bank that funded the Brooklyn Bridge. The original building is next door. So when the original owner, Patsy Grimaldi sold to the new owner, after a few years he got bored. He opened Juliana's next door, since he couldn't get the original name back. Patsy named it Juliana's after his mom. So now ya know...the REST of the story. Great video...Love me some NYC!
Thanks for the history, man. I’ll definitely be visiting Juliana’s next time that stuff fascinates me. Thank you for watching. Always love some great pizza.
You should check out Carmines in Times Square it’s great!
When I see the NY skyline with the Brooklyn / Manhattan bridge in the view the first thing I think of is The band Type O Negative’s 1999 album, World Coming Down.
I love DUMBO! Thanks walking Brooklyn Bridge is a must I actually canceled my NY trip two weeks ago to go to Walt Disney World I loved it but NY has my heart thanks for the video 👍🏻
Thanks for living vicariously it’s such a cool spot. Hope you had fun at Disney World.
@@TampaJay Yes it was great I have never seen so much beauty the Resorts were amazing I went to almost all of the resorts and went to Animal Kingdom Epcot and Magic Kingdom I was amazed no words.
So proud being from here. Next time, take the ferry over to Staten Island. We have some of the best pizza in the five boroughs.
Thanks man. I really need to give Staten Island some love. Would love to try some pizza over there. The Verrazano bridge is amazing.
Jay, I'm from Brooklyn.. Born and raised . Lived there until '02. I have done your walk many times. Hopefully one day soon you will go back for a longer visit! (Much to see!!)
Thanks so much. I hope to have more time to spend there in the much ahead. Appreciate you watching and living vicariously. love Brooklyn.
Good job Jay
Mornin Jay!!
When you get back to Florida, someday you might want to check out Wewahitchka Florida, the home of the dead lakes,Tupelo Honey where the 1997 movie Ulee's Gold was filmed which was Jennifer Biel's first movie someday.Wewahitchka is about 22 miles from Mexico Beach.
Instant THUMBS UP for being in New York City! Nothing compares to a NYC hot dog cart!
You had me a nervous wreck walking those empty streets! That's the mama in me!! Lol
Jay, just stumbled upon your site and subscribed. LOVE the abandoned places episodes completely...less so the others. That's meant to be a compliment. Keep it up. Having lived in FL for 20+ years now, I do appreciate areas that are the "real" Florida. I enjoy watching very much and better than TV for sure :)
Claustrophobia 👀 that “room” is SO New York 😂
Dude that was The perfect shot of Brooklynn bridge over the water.looks like a post card.
It’s hard to replicate that shot. I got lucky. Such a great view from Dumbo.
@@TampaJay I don't doubt that that was a great shot you always go all in on your videos.kepo it up
Love your videos come to Long Island
❤️ NYC
Getting closer to 100K!
Great video Jay if you have chance take walk over George Washington Bridge it's unreal Enjoy
Ok Here is a creepy story- 2001 exactly 6 months before that horrible day my husband and I went to Windows on the World and I was very pregnant with my second baby. It was such a a sight. I walked all around to capture all the views. 6 months later all I could think about were the staff who where there on that day. I am so glad I got to go. That baby girl I had turned 6 months on 9-11 and today she is living on Long Island. She is an RN and has a heart for helping other people when tragedy occurs. Loved this video ❤ Be safe!!
My name is Craig Dennis i watch your both new videos all the time and i in joy all of your both videos all the time and how are your dogs doing👍👍👍👍👍👍
I would love a slice, my friend. 🍕😋🍕
We don't have a Grimaldi's in Pickens, South Carolina.
Be safe in the big city, please. ❤🙏❤️
Be safe. Don't get dead ...
❤
Great video friend would love to meet you wish you could come to Rockaway here in Queens!
Thank you! Hoping to get back to Queens someday. Where is the best pizza there?
Tampa Jay is the Duke of New York. He's A # 1👍
If you pay the 7 day pass for the Metro I think it’s like 35 dollars it will be cheaper than paying the 325 each time it adds up
At the courthouse I recognized the woman. She's from Blue Bloods. They're filming. 🙂
KNICKS 4 EVER 🧡💙🧡💙🧡💙🧡💙🧡💙🧡
I love Grimaldi's pizza. 🍕 I go to the Westshore location a lot in Tampa.
I’d be speechless to meet ya if I ever did
Hi! I’m Devon! Come to NH! I’ll give you a tour of the Upper Valley of VT and NH and share some info! I’m actually in the middle of filming a horror movie here!
The actual original Grimaldi's is next door and is now called Juliana's. The original owner of Grimaldi's opened Juliana’s Pizza after he sold Grimaldi's to a franchise. I'd give Juliana's a try. Also down the street there is Ignazio's Pizza which is very highly rated. Nice video. Dumbo in Brooklyn is one of my favorite places to go. Especially at sundown.
Good grief! How far did you walk for that pizza??? Some really good views!! Thanks Tampa Jay!!! I hate typing on this IPhone!!
My old stomping ground.

If you go to Flatbush where your ancestors is buried find ebbet apartment the site used to be a old ballpark where Jackie Robinson broke the color Barriers but it on April 15,1947 and also my grandmother was born there in Brooklyn
Man I hope you are being safe. The crime has gotten terrible there. There is a UA-cam guy called cash Jordan that reports on things happening in the city.
Wow, Kelly’s closet is bigger than your room 😂
Oh, how romantic! The skyline at night, the bridge lit up in all its glory 😢. Jay do you have any Native blood? ❤
@@TampaJay Very cool, do they specify the tribe(s) or is it just a general %?
That hotel room is so small! Did you also have to share a restroom? What was the price? Im nosy..... ;)
Restrooms are separate from showers. 171 a night (cheap for the location). This is actually the third time i have stayed here. It’s small but it’s extremely clean. It’s perfect for someone like me who just needs a spot to hang his hat.
@@groovygirl2408 you’re welcome. There are several floors of cabins owned by different tenants that have different options.
Cash only? Wow that's surprising.
Is this the bridge that Tony Soprano and Johnny Sack had their meetings? The thumbnail photo is too familiar.
Great video. Can't go wrong with NYC Pizza.🍕 Had no idea that was what DUMBO stood for. Always equated it with 🐘Great that you visited the Brooklyn Bridge. Fun fact: The iconic 1977 movie 'Saturday Night Fever' was filmed at 1301 W 7th St, 221 79th St, 5th Ave & 94th St, 7305 5th Ave, 802 64th St, 86th St, Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.🌉
Beacuse Spider-Man was also based in New York for the Main Part
Dang Jay, That Pizza looked like it would have been worth walking all the way from Jersey to get a bite of. It made me hungry. Be safe out there my friend I hear New York is rapidly evolving to third world city status.
Hey Jay -- Nice meeting you over by Centre Street last Friday. Hope you got some good footage for your upcoming "secret" project. And if you ever end up going to Coney Island, let me know, I can recommend a phenomenal pizza experience! Cheers, Mark
It was so awesome running into you, man. Thank you so much ! Nice meeting you hope to see you again. Much ahead
