SEAN SUEN AW22 - CAN'T GO BACK
This is a period of time of sufficient profundity. In a similar time and space, human beings are the most variable and a factor most likely to trigger variables. Observing human behavior and consciousness from both objective and subjective perspectives, the forces between physical and psychological distance have been infinitely amplified. We seem to truly feel the solitude from all angles, from the anxiety that initially spread frantically, to the extreme paranoia after self-isolation, then the unfathomable selective non-communication, and finally we calm down and move on, because we can’t go back.
The SEAN SUEN 2022 autumn and winter series examines the changing emotions brought on by traumatizing human experiences and the process of self reconciliation in times of loneliness and helplessness. Continuing SEAN SUEN’s silhouette in his design aesthetic, and based on the colorless series of black, white, and gray, it introduces earth tone colors symbolizing nature. By employing a large number of cold-resisting fabrics such as wool and leather, it hopes to create a resonant, free, comfortable, and connected space for the wearers.
We cannot turn back the hands of time. Reality pierces through the soul like thorns. After whispering softly with our eyes closed in the dark night, we still have to walk alone with determination through the deep and distant jungle, and life continues.

Nous vivons une époque d'une grande profondeur. Dans un temps et un espace indiscernables, l'être humain est le facteur le plus variable et le plus susceptible de déclencher des variables. En observant le comportement et la conscience de l'homme d'un point de vue objectif et subjectif, les forces entre la distance physique et psychologique ont été infiniment amplifiées. Il semble que nous ressentions véritablement la solitude sous de multiples dimensions, de l'anxiété qui se propage tout d’abord frénétiquement, à la paranoïa extrême faisant suite à l'auto-isolement, puis à l'insondable non-communication sélective ; et enfin nous nous calmons et passons à autre chose, car nous ne pouvons pas revenir en arrière.
La collection automne-hiver 2022 de SEAN SUEN examine les émotions changeantes provoquées par des expériences humaines traumatisantes et le processus de réconciliation avec soi-même en période de solitude et d'impuissance. Poursuivant l’esthétique enveloppante et précise de SEAN SUEN, et sur la base d’un nuancier incolore de noir, de blanc et de gris, il introduit des couleurs aux tons de terre symbolisant la nature. En utilisant de nombreux tissus résistants au froid tels que la laine et le cuir, il espère créer un espace résonnant, libre, confortable et connecté pour ceux qui portent ces pièces.
Nous ne pouvons faire reculer les aiguilles du temps. La réalité transperce l'âme comme des épines. Après avoir murmuré doucement, les yeux fermés dans la nuit noire, nous devons encore marcher seuls avec détermination dans la jungle profonde et lointaine, et la vie continue.

SEAN SUEN 2022秋冬系列审视人类在经历世事创伤中的情感变化，以及在孤寂无助时与自我和解的过程；延续了SEAN SUEN设计中无限追求的精准美学，使用极具包裹感的挺括廓型，以黑、白、灰无彩色系为大基调，引入象征自然的大地色。同时使用了羊毛、皮质等御寒性面料，希望为穿着者们创造出一个可以共鸣的、自由舒适的链接空间。
我们无法让时空倒流，现实如同荆棘般刺痛灵魂，在暗夜中闭目吟唱过后，最终还是要在深邃悠远的丛林中坚定的独自前行，生活还在继续。
