Thanks for the video. My wife's corsa has problems starting up and is definitely lacking power when trying to push the throttle, feels like fuel deficency so I guess it's the pump or maybe a clogged filter Edit: for someone that may be having same issue - the pump was fine, what was busted was the rubber hose connecting pump to the tank cover. It was good enough that the car was starting but there was a crack in it that was causing it to lose plenty of pressure. Changing the hose fixed the issue
@@MeFixingEverything actually I've changed it today at 11 a.m. There was 35°C on the sun. Only thing is that now it takes more revs when I start the car. I don't know if it's normal, but now I wait for about 4 sec since I turn the key until the car starts. Do you have some advice about this?
The video is excellent thank you alot!, Although after a 5 minute drive i parked my car and i randomly died then i when i tried to start it up it wouldnt start. And the pump wasnt making any sound could it be the pink fuse?
Thanks for the great vid. I've got a 2004 Astra H Essentia 1.4 with very low fuel pressure. Engine stalls now and then with some hard starts in between, especially once it gets to operating temperature. I was suspecting a clogged fuel filter but I can't find it anywhere. Could the low pressure be caused by the pump or the fuel filter that I can't find? Thanks.
I have a problem on an Astra J 1.4 petrol, i have change many parts trying to cure this following problem. Car starts and runs perfectly, accelerates normally for a 1.4 non turbo. Then the engine temp stabilizes thats when the car looses power, There are no fault codes. I did suspect the variable valve timing but all looks good, I am left thinking about the fuel pump OR is something breaking down once normal operating temp has been reached, its a puzzle. And if the car runs ok initially i cannot see it being a fuel pump ! the car has covered 88000 miles from new. Best regards Cheshire UK Once it was easy to do maintenance now it gets more difficult with each new model.

Excellent video. You helped me a lot! Greethings from Croatia!
Thanks for the comment. Be careful with the sun and the heat while changing fuel pumps.

Absolutely
@@MeFixingEverything Thank you for the response. I will try to replace it.
When pump is working does it humming or no?
Only works when cranking , I can’t hear it it while engine cranking , if it’s quiet you should hear a hum
it starts when you crank and when engine is running, so unless your engine is extremely quiet you won't be able to hear it
