In Australia for sandy ground like this , no one use excavator to put spear in ;) . they all do by hand using high pressure pump and aluminium spear to make hole to right depth and also use bluemetal so pump doesn't suck sand

The dewatering isn't actually happening yet. They're using the water jet to make hole in the ground 20 feet deep, then they stick a wellpoint into the hole and they use a vacuum pump to suck the water out of the earth.

so much easier in uk with placing tube on digger and can push not all sand here
