They have been in New York twice! I got to see them at the Playstation Theater in May of 2019, and they opened for HYDE of all people! That double billing was ridiculous. Yuko has stated that she and the rest of the band really want to come back when things get better. So keep your fingers crossed!

The concert was postponed from January 2020 to August 2020, due to covid 19. The concert went over two days with only 5000 spectators every day in Yokohama Arena which has room for 17000.
Go read the lyrics to this song. It's actually pretty bizarre. Suzuhana is such a beautiful singer. She has a twin brother that looks just like her! Wagakki Band is awesome. Everyone seems to love Beni on the shamisen! She has her own UA-cam channel, mostly about food. Machiya is a great guitar player. They are all amazing. 8 members... so much talent on one stage.
Sadly, They already came to New York a few years ago. I would have drove overthere just to see them live.
I would recommend "Wagakki Band - Queen of the Night" video clip, a acoustic/tradionnal song, really nice one.
This group is very versatile and this song shows it!

WGB has switched record companies to Universal to make it easier to reach the western audience. When the pandemic is over, they will again tour both Europe and the United States 😀

@@hokieham I have seen Dai shinnenkai 2017 and 2019 as well as the first us tour 2015 on DVD. Great show, I can tell you that. Yes they are expensive.

All the audience had to wear face masks and were not allowed to sing or shout. therefore, this version lacks response from the audience when the band is gathered in the middle of the stage at 2:30. And everyone has switched to t-shirts except Yuko, so this is one of the closing numbers.

Two recommendations:
1. Strong Fate(it’s already been recommended here. The 2019 version is their best)
2. Sabuka No Komoriuta(check out the Premium Symphonic version........it will rip your heart out. Some of Yuko’s finest singing).

So funny thing about this song, its actually a cover. An incredibly done cover to be certain but im always sad to not see people put respect on the og version
It is a well done cover. But the original is better. You can't beat Hatsune Miku.
