@@esterramos3558 but it’s clearly stated in Leviticus that men can’t cut their beard…why pick and choose which bible verse to go by? you see? if you’re going to be against tattoos, then you should be against every other thing Leviticus talks about…i believe we no longer live under those pagan rules and the reason why tattoos was mentioned in the bible was for the reason i mentioned earlier. we won’t ever agree since not every Christian will ever think the exact same & there’s different churches/pastors that preach differently but like i’ve been telling people, pray about this topic because it’s been something so shamed on for many years which it shouldn’t be. I've been going back & forth with getting a tattoo or not growing up I knew tattoos were no good and a sin but recently I've been debating if it's actually a sin depending on what you get or why. My mom is so against it so I don't think I'll ever get one. I also know myself and If I start idk if I'll stop & getting too many tattoos can also become vain. And at the end of the day I don't want to question if I'm saved or not bc of a tattoo I rather be sure and not give in to my desires for God.

this is from an article that speaks on tattoos! there’s a lot more you can read on tattoos :) we all have different convictions and i’ve personally never been convicted about tattoos. all my tattoos are about my family or God! it’s good to do your own research and pray about it instead of just going with whatever you’ve been told your whole life about tattoos or even what i’m telling you! pray about it and God will reveal every answer to you :)

That chapter is taking about God speaking to Moses for Moses to tell the children of Israel the laws to be holy, Leviticus 19:1-2“ And the Lord spoke unto Moses, Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy” , the chapter then starts mentioning all the laws we should follow including Leviticus 19:28 because those were pagan/ unholy habits that God doesn’t want us following. Because our body is Gods temple as well “what? Know ye not that your body Is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you” also In the New Testament we never see an example of Jesus or the disciples getting tattoos because God doesn’t want us tattooing spiritual tattoos nor verses on our bodies but instead have it in our hearts 2 Corinthians3:3 “forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the spirit of the living God” I in no means wanna come off as a hater this is just my point of view,
