@@richclinesmith9461 I don’t think that’s a well-known nickname. I grew up in NY Mets and Yankees fan since the 70s. Not diehard Yankees fan but I know all the famous players, and I know a lot about Mickey Mantle, and I knew he was from Oklahoma. But I never heard of “commerce comet” And I’m sure many others never heard that as well. That nickname is nowhere nears as famous as “The Babe”, the Big Bambino, the Sultan of swat” “Joltin’ Joe” “Iron-horse” “Yogi”, the “Say hey kid”, “Tom Terrific”, “King Kong” etc.
I missed 4, mostly newer players, and I knew most of them before the choices even came up. But Pudge was also Carlton Fisk, Moose was Bill Skowron, and Big Mac was Willie McCovey. Those were my guesses, and I consider them correct answers. Still, I did miss 4.
I can’t believe they have a question like #15. 3:38. Who is known as the Ryan Express? (at least give 3 choices, with someone with the name of “Ryan”) Like they do with “Rapid Robert” q#35 8:38
A few others already said what I was thinking about Pudge being Carlton Fisk as well as Ivan Rodriguez. Other nicknames that can be claimed by multiple baseball figures: Sparky - Anderson and Lyle Doc - Michael Powers, George Medich, Dwight Gooden, and Roy Halladay Powers, who played as the 1800s became the 1900s, and Medich, who played in the 1970s, both actually had medical degrees. Lefty - Gomez, Grove, O'Doul, and Steve Carlton
Thomas Clark Nicholson's(1863-1917) nickname in baseball was???? "Parson" Because he refused to baseball on Sunday. T C Nicholson is my great grandfather.
Only missed one. The Lincecum one. Palmer I knew had been called “Pancake Palmer” but they must have shortened it. Moose Skowron was Moose 40 years before Messina was and Carlton Fisk was Pudge 30 years before Ivan Rodriguez was.
The real moose was Bill Skowron!
That would have been a real quiz question, instead of one that's easy to guess correctly even if you know nothing about baseball.
Never heard Palmer referred to as "Cakes". Learn something every day.
He got the name if I’m not mistaken because he ate pancakes for breakfast every day he pitched
Pudge was Carlton Fisk, before Ivan. Mike Mussina was second to Bill Moose Skowron of NY Yankees to hold the moose title .
Also, Big Mac was Willie McCovey.
# 9 . The "Kid" was Ted Williams too when he came up in 1939.
And gary Carter
“Commerce Comet” Mickey Mantle.? 9:09 I never heard that, nor I don’t know why.
He was from Commerce, Oklahoma.

never heard mccovey referred to as big mac.
@@mabt4223 Really? I very clearly recall him being called that. Look him up on baseball-reference. They show that as one of his nicknames.
As a Tiger fan we had "Stormin Norman" Cash, and "Willie the Wonder" Horton, and "Prince Hal" Newhouser.
The nickname "Pudge" should really be credited to Carlton Fisk, he was the original Pudge.
Wasn't Lou Gehrig the original "Iron Horse"?
pudge was fisk before!
This was fun, thanks! My favorite player is "The Yankee Clipper"/"Joltin' Joe"! ❣️
whos that mr. coffee?
got am all but 2.. the newer ones I didnt get, loath post 80's mlb..

I jokingly said to myself before the choices came up: "Ryan Gosling". :)

I think that if you’re going to ask the question, Who was known as Mr. Cub The least you should do is to have three Chicago Cubs as a choice
Too easy ...missed 2 ....didn't know about Palmer
Gary Carter was call the kid don't forget
Only missed two.
37/42.
You had to pick from the choices
Missed 5🤦♂️
