I didn't watch this video, but i had my daughter to watch it as a refresher on metaphors while i was out of the room for a few minutes. When I returned we began to discuss some examples of metaphors. she gave me several great metaphors...some from this video & some from others. However, when she mentioned "That's an eye-catching outfit," i told her that i don't believe that's a metaphor. i could be wrong. anyway, let me know what u think. other than that, good video based on the comments.

thanks, my teacher explained this in school, but i couldnt pay attendion due to this really annoying kid in my class, and was too mad and irrated to pay much attention,
so if i say... the wind is cold as the orange flavoured popcile lingring on my tongue... would that be a simile? and if i said... my dad barked at me... would that be a metaphor?
