There’s also a thing called skin purging - where an active ingredient in a product you’re using speeds up your skin renewal phase; and this may cause more pimples which will end up clearing, and leaving you with a smoother face. However, I don’t know which one you’re experiencing; so I’ll advise you see a dermatologist, or stop using the product, and see if there will be a change.
