This conversation doesn't take psychology into account. Yes, you can sell any time you've made a profit. But realize, when you buy a stock, you buy in emotionally and will always feel like its owner, even after you sell. If you sell your stock and it continues to grow and split over time, you WILL look back and say "shit, if only I hadn't sold".
_I feel like the question depends on your age._ *But if you're young enough then..* Hold for the long term! (assuming you have good stock to begin with)
options are risky and the losses are infinite.... and another FYI...stocks just dont go up.... so if you buying and not paying attention to charts you WILL lose money...
They ok. I like them better than rh. Nice app easy buy stocks. No trading. Perfect for newbies. Prices are not in real time meaning if want to sell or buy stock at 9am @ 10 bucks by the time your sell or buy goes thru the price changes. Other than that its nice
Stash is awesome especially for newer investors. I have been with them since 2017 and I’ve seen the growth in their product. Go on FB and follow the “stash investors” page. Very informative and helpful. Lots of good ppl in the group helping each other out.
You are misleading people📌 Ecclesiastes 3 says that there is time to everything⚠️🚫⛔ Me. I trade cryptocurrency and it has a market cycle of 4 years. Therefore, there is time to buy and time to sell... Stop being led by emotions, guys🙏🙏❤
I'm no expert, but I'd think it really depends on who wins the election and who the majority of investors have faith in as president of this country. If Biden wins and the majority of investors don't feel confident in how that will affect the companies they have invested in, folks will sell. Same rule applies to Trump, if he wins. But as Ian said and insinuated; if the election results aren't clear cut folks might get nervous and begin to sell. Could be a short term sell off, but how short that term will be is hard to tell. I'm thinking the market is going to take a nosedive at some point over the next 3 months, unless some really positive news arrives regarding COV or the election.

Yup.
I'm in the same boat as Marcus. I held on to my positions too long. I was up more than 50% or more on my Apple, Microsoft and Square positions
Y'all are so dope for what you do for us. We appreciate you!

Gotta know when to buy and when to sell
Good strategy is to sell your original investment after up 100%, let the rest run...
So far I have not sold at a loss. But I am acquiring more cash for better opportunities in the future
I'm in 150
Appreciate all you guys.
Life changing game
The only stock I’ve sold for a Loss is wells fargo 👎🏻 smh couldn’t take it after that dividend cut
I sold Wells before the dividend cut! Terrible bank and investment. JPM chase would be the only bank I would invest if I had to
Keep dropping jewels Kings
These clips are golden, could you guys do a futures clip/clips so Ian doesn't have to repeat himself so much.

Most of us took a hit.
What do y’all think will happen to the market around the election?
