- FRIED RICE | Wok Hei Fried Rice with Char Siu, Prawns, Fried Egg, and Sambal Belacan since 1990!
Malaysian fried rice, known as "Nasi Goreng," is a popular dish featuring stir-fried rice with a mix of ingredients like vegetables, eggs, and protein (chicken, shrimp, or pork). Infused with aromatic spices and sauces like soy sauce or sambal, it reflects Malaysia's diverse culinary influences. Fried rice is a common item on most menus, but to make it “just right”, it takes years of skills and precision to master the art of balancing flavors and textures.

Thanks for the recommendation 😊
Hope you like it!
Just simple and delicious 😋
It really is!
They always nailed their fried sunny side up eggs haha
The dish isn't complete without the fried egg!
I love their belacan :)
Ya their sambal belacan is the bomb
The belacan is best!
The dish wouldn't be complete with the sambal belacan!
Now they have expanded to so many shops and stalls.
Yup and they started at a humble beginning from Alor Setar, Kedah :)
Cravings from Berlin. A plate of fried rice would be nice right now 😂
Haha awww. Lots of love and support from Malaysia!
It may looked like a simple dish but the chef takes years of skills to get it right
Haha yup, never underestimate a humble fried rice dish

Hahaha husband and wife were from Alor Setar, Kedah. Move to KL, started their first stall back in the 1990s and now expanded to a few outlets
