Sensory integration therapy is essentially a form of occupational therapy, and it is generally offered by specially trained occupational therapists. It involves specific sensory activities to help a child appropriately respond to light, sound, touch, smells, and other input.
Sensory integration focuses primarily on three basic senses-tactile, vestibular, and proprioceptive. Their interconnections start forming before birth and continue to develop as the person matures and interacts with his/her environment.
Sensory integration also uses therapies such as deep pressure, brushing, weighted vests, and swinging. These therapies appear to sometimes be able to calm an anxious child.
Sensory integration is the process by which we receive information through our senses, organize this information, and use it to participate in everyday activities. An example of sensory integration is: Baby smelling food as they bring it to their mouth. ... Feeling the texture of the food.

This is not sensory integration. These are tactile stimulation activities. Some very nice ones as well as very noxious ones.

Mam, please can you suggest me how to stop not stop laughing for no reason ., My son 6.9 years he laughs continuously for no reason how much means till he wet his pant ., And he can't stand thoroughly also., For this reason I have stoped to visit my native also ☹️

Physically he is healthy . @ mysore all India speach and hearing I had shown him they told that he need occupational therapy. And he is having sensory integration
