      This came out when I was in high school I believe and I love it then I still love Kid Rock and I'm glad he is still rocking it up and doing good. But this is the first time I've ever saw the video and makes it way more special to me with them referencing the greatest move start to finish there has ever been! R.I.P Bandit (Burt Reynolds) Snowman (Jerry Reed) and Hal Needham.

    The entire Devil without a Cause album is a serious gem, you can play the entire thing on repeat! The lil man who was always with him was Joe C; he had celiac disease that stunted his growth and eventually, he passed away from it too. In the video he was fist-fighting Gary Coleman; a famous actor who suffered from a kidney disease that resulted in him not growing any taller than 4' 8". The piano player was Ron Jeremy; a world-famous PStar. Pam Anderson was in Playboy but not any official P movies other than her home made stuff with the likes of Tommy Lee from Motley Crue and even Bret Michaels from Poison at one point. Yes, her most famous role was as CJ on Baywatch, alongside David Hasselhoff, Nicole Eggert, Yasmine Bleeth and Donna D'Errico. Originally, Kid Rock was with the Twisted Brown Trucker band; which featured Eminem from time to time, in his very early stages of his career.

    Kid Rock was a popular DJ in the Detroit city area. He was totally self-made funding his own shows and tours based. It took forever for the Labels or Studios to pick him up. He was known for his live shows - quite an extravaganza and used lots of local talent from Detroit and New York. Over time, he learned to play guitar, play bass, play a bit of keyboard, etc.

    Kid Rock started out with what can probably best be described as perverted rap. He didn't hit it big until he started incorporating rock & country influences into his music. I saw him perform at a small bar at Bowling Green University a few years before he blew up & he was transitioning to the sound that made him big. Try "Bawitdaba" for a lively track... or "Only God Knows Why" - probably his best song - which is slower & shows off his range. He also did an amazing duet with Sheryl Crowe called "Picture" which is more of a country sound.

    • @mneugent7658
      @mneugent7658 2 роки тому

      Kid Rock hit it huge with Bawitdaba. That song and its album (Devil Without A Cause)made him super famous. He was kinda underground before they came out. And then the duet with Sheryl Crow and that Sweet Home Alabama knockoff. He was super famous and selling out arenas well before the country-style stuff.

      Kid Rocks first ever album was grits sandwiches for breakfast. I was at clutch cargos, the shelter, and St Andrew's Hall in Detroit back in the early 90's when he was out there battling trying to build a following. Dude put in the blood sweat and tears to put out his rap and then when he went rock/ rap blend he used a few songs from that album and the other one which the name i honestly can't remember but he used some of that material for devil without a cause. Pimp of the nation was on grits sandwiches for breakfast

      @@jonathongeorge3093 I think I've heard "Yodalin In The Valley". What most people who know him only from his major success don't know is that he's a real deal actual badass DJ. Its so cool when people from an artist's local origins have this early pre-stardom knowledge base to enlighten others to. One of those little treasures that are likely lost due to the gig age. Oh the prices we pay for digital progress. Same as with the pure joy of reading the liner notes with the headphones on; staring for time on end at the album cover while wondering WTF is going on there as the next song starts.

    He grew up in a rich family in Detroit, tried to be a rapper for probably 10+ years, that didn't work so he reinvented himself and mixed his rapping with rock guitars when Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, etc. were blowing up. He doesn't fit any genre, he is his own. In one of his songs (American Badass) he cites his influences as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Beastie Boys and Grandmaster Flash. So he's all over the board.

    You guys should do some C.O.C. aka Corrosion Of Conformity. They're a Southern band that plays a variety of heavy styles from hardcore punk to thrash to what can only be described as a mix of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Sabbath and 90s Metallica. Their most iconic album was 1994's Deliverance.

    Kid did the rap/ rock thing because he knew it would sell. After that he started singing and writing “ Americana music “ along the same as John Mellencamp, bob segar, Tom petty what have you. I will say so far he’s not risen to their ability but I think he will if he continues to make music.

    Let me say that I don't subscribe easy. I watch several videos first. I have always enjoys your str8 into it approach and Lex's cute laugh. She really does seem to be honest about her feelings to a song. You too Brad. Lex just seems to not be able to control her instinctive reactions to something. Good work both of you. You defiantly earned my subscription.

    Kid Rock started in Detroit in the 90’s and was well known locally as a rapper. His influences were the Beastie Boys and Run DMC. He then got world wide fame and his style graduated to include more rock and country. He’s known to be a very approachable and personable guy, not Hollywood but humble from the midwest. He also found and produced Gretchen Wilson (you’ll see him in her music video with Hank Williams Jr). I would love for you guys to check him out! I love his music. He gets alot of hate (kinda like Nickelback does but idk why) I dig him. Ooh react to Nickelback please! Photograph or Rockstar.
