It's amazing how Gold Prospecting works... you can hit a great patch 1 day and the next day you get hardly anything in the same spot.. It is very hit and miss and finding patches of 17 pieces of gold aren't happening very often so when it happens to me I like to savour the moment. But after working this spot the next day the gold was coming out slow and nearly not at all. I must have found the rich little pocket for that area, unfortunately these patches don't last forever.

Thanks Jimmie🍻
4.00 that's good😂 grilled cheese with garlic butter oh yes and beer😂 and congratulations to the both of you new prospector coming along😮 lots of good shiny😮 and to think you're going to have power wherever you go you can cook anytime you want now😛🔌🔋🖥️⚖️⛏️ keep swinging
Thanks man, oh the toasties are the bomb! I appreciate that mate, hopefully he enjoys it like I do🤞
Well done Lee. Amazing how lead can get down so far where it has no right to be. Good haul mate 😁😁👍👍
Thanks Andrew, mate lead will be the death of me😂. It ended up turning out an ok total👌. Cheers mate.
Nice haul there Lee, it's so good when it brings a smile to our face, nice power supply also and congrats..
Thanks Paul, that's what it's all about. Next the ounce plus piece🙌🤞.
Looks like a ripper trip buddy!!! Well done and sensational work on the Jackery review 👍👍
Thanks lads, yours wasn't to bad either😉
Nice work Lee, great result for your trip. Gold is crazy you can stumble onto a bit straight up and not another in sight. Nice review on the Jackery, that will come very handy in the camper. Cheers Pete
Thanks Pete, isn't it annoying sometimes and amazing other times. The thrill of the hunt and finally finding it is what it's all about👌. The Jackery is a beast and will come in so handy camping and around home👍. Cheers mate.
Sweet sweet tears of the sun
That gold is beautiful mate and the Jackery is a beast! How’s the camper going? Looks awesome!!👍👍
Thanks mate, nice and reefy stuff most of it. Isn't it a weapon, it will come in very handy👌. The campers perfect man I'm loving it, easy to tow and gets in all those small tracks.
Congratulations on the new addition
Thanks Guy, I appreciate that mate🍻
Fantastic❤
Wow what good 4 day trip, some very pretty reef gold there. Camper looks good and the solar power cell looks the ducks guts. I use my older set up ( 100ah pwer station) to run the trommel and pump for my sluice set up. Electric is grouse , no noisy petrol pump! Looks like your going to be a very busy man with little feet soon! 😊
❤it
Thanks Andy, it wasn't a bad total for Vic👌. I'm loving the Jackery it's a beast and solar generators are so much better than the old petrol set up.
Awesome work mate
I appreciate it, thanks Terry.

Excellent review of the Jackery, particularly with the sanga press, it's a great power drawer. The 6000 is a weapon for the small gold ✨️. Thoroughly enjoyed. Cheers 🍻
Weapon on the big stuff also
Thanks heaps mate, it's got plenty of power that one👌. The 6 can definitely pluck out the left overs pretty well. Cheers🍻
Nice patch Lee. Looks like lots of gravel
Thanks Garry, very gravely material there man. Cheers Lee.

Jackery, not for home Air-conditioning, mate. Nice work on the gold. Congratulations on your new child, mate, too.
Thanks mate, life just got much busier😂.
nice going Lee some real nice bits there well worth the 3 days out, the olde timers must of been a bit sloppy with their work to leave that behind . Great video
Thanks Gadzee, they miss quite a lot I just wish they missed a few bigger ones😆. Cheers Lee.
@@SavageProspecting don't we all wish that Lee 😆
Pretty good week out with some crazy cool shaped bits that ground looked brutal hard…thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼 p.s. I recognize that outro music from another channel that uses it constantly if you havent heard of it it’s prospecting 101 for Aussie gold nuggets (UA-cam)he’s a brilliant prospector sharing and passing on his knowledge of how to find reefs and he’s found some rippers 🤩
Thanks mate, yes I do watch him. I haven't seen any recent videos lately though.. not sure what's going on there.
👍👍
Nice day out! Do you prefer the 6000 over the 7 and what is the deepest 1g or less nugget the 6 has pulled? So far I am at about 9" for a subgrammer using the 6 and it seems like the limit.
The 6 is more consistent for getting a piece but the 7 will find bigger ones deeper. I'm going to start running the 7 again for my next few trips just to see how I go. Oh I couldn't say sorry but I've been surprised many a time on how deep it gets some tiny nugs.
Nice haul there mate another great vid cheers 👍🍻
Thanks mate, hope you guys are staying as cool as possible and staying hydrated🍻.
Nice nuggies! Is there any reason you don't use a pin pointer?
Thank you mate, nuggets that size I doubt my pin pointer would pick them up. I use a pin pointer on the big deep targets.
Question about the Jackery lithium power station.
Can you charge it from a petrol engine generator?
I saw on another channel (Homesteading Uncontained) that they have a different brand lithium power station & they tried their petrol generator & it wouldn’t charge the lithium unit apparently because the power supplied by the generator isn’t “clean enough” ie doesn’t fall exactly within the mains power specification of hertz or something.
So they bought a fancy new generator thinking that would solve the issue - but it also won’t charge the lithium unit.
So I’m curious which brands will accept generator charge up?
There’s quite a few different brands out there but if you can only use your cars 12v or solar blankets that’s a little inconvenient in cloudy and rain days with no sun.
G'day Ian, my understanding is you would need a pure sine inverter generator to charge it. I have one at home so I will give it a go and let you know how it goes. I think if you were fully off-grid you would have a petrol generator for times without enough solar. Cheers Lee.
@@SavageProspecting Thanks Lee, it would be greatly appreciated if you could try it for me please?
I’m looking to buy a lithium power station & small Honda type portable generator, & don’t want to buy something that’s incompatible.
I bought one of those 75 litre Companion Fridge Freezers - which has its own 48 amps inbuilt lithium battery’s - but it only runs the fridge for about 16 hours if the vehicles not running.
I figured having a power station. & little gen set I should have all bases covered.
The gen set the other channel bought was a new fancy sine wave gen set, but it too wouldn’t charge their power station.
Homesteading uncontained is the channel, check out their latest videos & you will see what I mean.
Thanks heaps for anything you can find out, it’s kind of spooked me out of buying anything until I know it’s actually going to work.
I don’t want to fall into the same trap hopefully.
Well done 👍, do you sell your gold?
Thanks Craig, I've sold a little mate.
@@SavageProspecting if you want to sell any of your Bendigo & district gold I'll buy it @10% less than spot price, less % for really nice ones.🍺⛏️
Hay mate why don't you have the nugget finder on
G'day mate it was giving me a few issues being really noisy for some reason🙃
@SavageProspecting ok mate mine has been going good so far I thought you got a new one
