1. You can make it international by not writing static +91 in code. Let the user decide from which country they belongs to and add the country code accordingly. 2. It seems I couldn't get this question properly. OTP system is meant for eliminating spammer by verifying their Real Mobile Number. In Payment System most of the payment gateway or Banks verify user via their number Its Bank's Job. If you are talking about disposal mobile number unfortunately this can't be eliminated. People can use disposal number.

Both have their own importance. I would also like to share Firebase is not Open Source some of its SDKs are open source but core is not open source.
