I still have tears in my eyes when I listen to this hymn. What a beautiful hymn! Sometimes we are so caught up by our own life, our own little things, but we need to move our eyes from ourselves and see the vision. It was for HER! God's heart desire is for the church, His bride.
Wow! I thought about it, when Jesus asked the rich young man to sell everything and follow Him, Jesus was asking him to do what He Himself had done. He sold everything, and humbled Himself to glorify God and reconcile humanity, the church, back to Him! Hallelujah how gracious and wonderful!! What a Saviour we have, our Lord and Shepherd Jesus! Hallelujah! God bless His church, and remind us that it was for Her.
These photos are of brothers and sisters from all over the world who are not affiliated with any denomination but rather are meeting with other believers as the church in their city. Just as the Bible says, the only designation for the church was as the church in that city (i.e. the church in Antioch, the church in Philippi, Rome, Jerusalem, Thessilonica, etc). I personally am meeting with many brothers and sisters in New York City as the church in New York City. Our realization, according to the Bible, is that all the genuine Christians in a city are the church in that city.
