- This video was suggested by viewers. I don't know a lot about the Jagannath temple so was excited to watch this video. The video highlights interesting and unexplained phenomena that occur in and around the temple.

Due to history of Islamic invasion , non Indians are not allowed in this temple. This law adopted since 1750
You raise an important point. I know it's problematic for some devotees and if I were in a similar position and couldn't have darshan with Venkateshwara I would be devastated. And yet with some understanding of why such rules are in place one realizes that the Lord accepts devotion regardless of ability to enter the temple. Also those rules protect certain temples that were / are at risk so not to take darshan as a means to protect the temple is an important offering to the Lord. (Just my view anyway)
As an aside I hope to have darshan with Padmanabha Swami next year and will do all the official things I can but if it is denied I also understand and am happy with darshan of the gopuram.
@@thedharmiccoach6241 Non Indians can see and touch his chariot of Lord Jagannath when he comes out of temple once a year. Generally temples and murthy are to declare the existence of Paramatma. Otherwise Hinduism say God or paramatma is omnipresent and not confined into a temple or holy place. By that logic Lord Jagannath also present where ever you live or stay. In Gita Lord Krishna said , if you want me , I will come to you. You need not search about me
It is true , I have been in Puri Jagannath several times .... it may not be about wind directions , which may change but tides happen due to gravitational forces or pull of moon on earth ... .

Unfortunately you cannot visit the temple non Indians and non hindus are not allowed due to historical distruction & looting of our ancient temple
Are you sure? I have seen another video in another channel called “I love Mayapur”, which is run by a German Hare Krishna Family. They have visited the temple.
It is unfortunate and also understandable given history. While I don't have the same connection with Lord Jagannath as many westerners do, I have a deep connection to Lord Venkateshwara and would do what I could to protect him even if it meant I couldn't see him in this life, as awful and painful as it would be. The inability to have darshan is a leela that I hope will deepen love for the Lord and preserve Dharma.

@@thedharmiccoach6241 I can't see how anyone would bar you once you have identified yourself as a Hindu. Hinduism is not based on colour of the skin or citizen of a country.
Non-Hindus I can believe, but not Hindus who are citizens of another country, would be barred from entry.
