A concordance and the BLB app (King James version)help me a whole bunch. From the definition of words and where they derived. In addition, the app shows where the words I don't understand are used multiple times
Reading multiple translations is what my pastor said to do! He said that Greek words often have multiple meanings in a sentence that English just doesn't mimic so it's best to read multiple translations to get the fullness of the meaning of the verses.
NLT is my favorite and what me and my kids use but I also have NKJV because it’s beautiful for one and I think it’s important for everyone to have at least one! I also have an amplified Bible and a Passion Translation Bible. For me and my kids tho, the NLT is the easiest for us to understand and that is truly the whole point. You need to be able to understand what you’re reading along with asking the Holy Spirit to help you gain understanding. Awesome video 🙂
I use KJV, NKJV, AMP, NASB, NIV (also in Spanish in different versions) but in those books that have them side-by-side or an app that allows for verse-by-verse comparison. And as I mature spiritually, the Word of God becomes clearer...
I’m really liking the CSB version this year. I’ve read the NKJV and ESV. I like both of them but I’m always comparing to other versions on the Bible app too.
Thanks Prophet Abednego for sharing. I have similar experience with the school thing and retaining information. I think I may need to get a parallel Bible . God bless you my bro
NKJV KJV NASB 1995 are great You want to read the translations that do not remove verses Always Pray Revelation from the Holy Spirit to understand more, IN JESUS NAME
I’m reading the Bible in a year, so I switch translations every few weeks, until I’m done with that then I will do a deeper study….. I do sometimes take notes of verses when I read before bed and then the next day go through a commentary to get better understanding lol…..
I really enjoy to study from the Life application Bible KJV. Youversion KJVAAE, Life Bible KJV, Cepher, Logos Bible KJv , Kairos KJV, Bible Inspiring Life KJV.

I’m really liking the WEB right now (World English Bible) but I have NLT, KJV, NKJV, NSRV, and I do compare translations a lot.
