Wow.. Mario and Luigi underestimate the power of Behemoth.. They fought it while playing a round of volley.. They could've easily beat it in a regular battle, and so added the challenge of keeping a ball in the air while the battle took place.

So when i got all four Crystal's and realized I had to fight a beast that was an outright boss, with the same sports mechanics I used through the entire game, I was basically jumpscared through excitement and confusion. I don't know how younger me would react if I told him that after he got all of the Crystal's he would encounter a final fantasy boss and beat it via sports.
Getting Basketball on the final round of Sports Mix Star Cup was enough to make my brother’s sanity break - the Expert AI in this game for Basketball in particular is brutal, and Kenny kept on losing (even DRAWING on rare occasions) with Ninja and the Mages. He was SO obsessed with just that one match, and despite me telling him to just reset the entire cup at that point so he could get better RNG, he wouldn't listen because he was so close to facing Behemoth King. One time we had friends over and I wanted to play the game with them, only to find out that Kenny was trying to get to Behemoth King again. I tried asking him politely to stop multiple times, but he kept saying no. Would you believe me when I say that it actually took me forcing the Wiimote away from my brother AND my parents giving him a temporary ban from the Wii (or Wii U, whatever we had back then) just to stop him?
The slime is pretty cute, I really like to select him as my team mate because for me it was quiet impossible that a thing like that could play any sport.

When the behemoth is about to rush at you use the green shell to stop it cuz once you hit it with the green shell the behemoth gets distracted and stops the charge
