The scene where Michael and Corey team up on the nurse and doctor. The part where Michael is Choking her, Corey is looking at his hand like he can feel the power through Michael’s choke. When Corey and allyson get on top of the radio tower roof, she look at his hand and says “infected” it basically the movie really saying that he’s been infected by evil.
Yeah idc fuck this whole Corey thing. He should’ve been a unfortunate situation and fed to Michael and Michael somehow senses Allyson was with him with a phone screen of a pic of them and he just so happened to see it and resurfaces … that would’ve been better than this crap. Or at least have Corey not even turn and just have him be Allyson’s lve interest for the end when they all fight Michael or whatever and thought that would be his redemption from the intro in a way. I can’t believe what movie I was watching. And it’s sad I had to question myself 20 mins in and check the stream to make sure i was watching Halloween ends.
He’s not feeling the power lmao, he just had his stitches reopened because his hand was slammed in the door. He’s staring in awe at Michael picking the nurse up with his bad hand. He can’t fathom how Michael doesn’t react to pain.
@@beelzeboo Ok, but In the next scene. He is all stitched up again. On the roof, I’m 99% sure he was. Btw, it’s just A theory. Chill. The fact that it was his left and Michael was choking with his left hand. The way the camera work is done is odd and different. Damn. Sorry for an opinion bro 😂
@@rorymclaughlin1609 why are you telling me to chill? Nobody is angry at you lol… all I did was refute what you said, if you took it emotionally that’s on you my guy sorry for saying the opposite 😂
@@beelzeboo Yh. It’s like Damn. Interesting theory man.. because they recently did the novel on. And a certain part literally it feels like a telepathic connection Michael can have with people. So yeah… maybe the theory could be right ☺️
I appreciate everyone’s opinion on this film because opinions are just that & we all have a right to them. However, as a 53 year old who is a lifelong fan of the Halloween franchise I was really disappointed by this film. I could care less about the Corey character. I wanted to see Michael not him. Also, the end was a letdown and fairly anticlimactic. It would be better in my opinion to keep Michael supernatural instead of just a serial killer in a mask. One of the things I loved about the original Halloween was the ending where you could hear him breathing under the mask as they showed different parts of the neighborhood to give you the feel that he could be anywhere and clearly he was unstoppable being that he took 6 shots to the chest from a .357 & just brushed it off. Not an ending deserving of Jamie Lee Curtis or her character. That being said I hope this is not the end of the franchise. I’ll always give someone the opportunity to give us something cool. That being said Halloween 2018 & Halloween Kills were great!
The Corey thing could have been a good or decent Halloween Anthology story.... Corey & Laurie the afterschool special was not a good movie....It was the THIRD PART OF A TRILOGY and yet had nothing to do with the other 2 parts....Clearly the people trying to cheer this on as a breath of fresh air, have no clue how a TRILOGY works. They clearly don't get in a trilogy all parts tie together to tell a whole story....Halloween Ends was The Last Jedi of Halloween movies.
I'm 29 years old and I feel the same way. I did not care for Corey at all. His story to me was lame. I think they would've been way better off if they had did another movie for Corey and not named it Halloween. Maybe something else like Halloween Night, not even tell people it's taking place in Haddonfield, do a full movie on Corey and not even have Michael Myers in it then at the end of the movie reveal to the audience it's connected to Halloween and then do this movie Halloween Ends where we have Michael and Corey maybe but give Michael more screen time. I think if they would've done a movie on Corey beforehand, it would've solved a lot of issues. I think they were so focused on giving Corey so much screen time by giving him a story and trying so hard for us to care for him that they forgot what people were here to see. It worked well for Split where they didn't reveal until the end of the film that it was connected to Unbreakable. As far as the end of the franchise, no. You definitely know for a fact that we will get another film but not in this timeline
I really thought they were going to reel it in with this trilogy and they had a chance to wrap it with a bow.. I’m severely disappointed they went ….THIS DIRECTION. I figured in my mind watching it “okay the intro was based on the Fear that Michael had instilled in his absence to the point it caused a tragedy. He gets shunned and the bullies toss him over and unfortunately is fed to Michael. Michael “empowers” or sees pics of him and Allyson from that photo booth machine with him and Allison from earlier that night and motivates him to go trick or treating again “ (I would even take something like that over some kid getting released to come back to bitch him out for his mask) I feel disgusted. No wonder why Carpenter wasnt as seen or heard of talking about this movie. He scored that or just let his son do it cause he was too sick to do it. We need someone to save Michael’s rep now after just meat grinding his legacy imo.
What makes that pool scene even more sinister is if you watch closely as soon as nurse girl walks out.. over in the darkness you can see Corey stabbing Dr Mathis repeatedly.. it was just super creepily done.! Great scene.!
My favorite part...Laurie has michaels hands pinned and left leg crushed by fridge. It pans over to his right leg still trying to kick Laurie. I laughed out loud in the theater. 😆 🦵
I'm so glad you talked about deep-faking the mask in some of the sequels. I've thought for several years this is a thing that SOMEONE needs to try, and I find it hard to believe it couldn't be pulled off based on the deep-fakes that exist these days. Give me a deep-fake classic mask for Halloween 4 and it's instantly the best sequel, without question.
In an alternate universe, Ends was the middle movie. After the house fire, Michael goes to live in the sewer. Corey helps Michael regain his strength, and by the end of the movie, Michael is back to full power and Corey is alive and on the loose. And then the final movie in the trilogy is just like Kills but you have Laurie, Tommy, and Lindsey vs Michael as the legacy generation and Allyson vs Corey as the new generation, and you have this massive Haddonfield bloodbath involving the entire town dealing with all of these elements. Laurie calming down after the events in 2018 would make sense because she would feel like she may have defeated Michael, Corey actually gets a payoff, and we get a view of Michael’s whole process while he’s in the weakened state but he comes back and ends up being stronger than ever after we had to see him so weak.
Maybe, when Michael is looking into the window, he's _looking into his own eyes._ And maybe what he's seeing is similar to what happens to Corey in 'Ends'.
so your saying that if michael looks into his own eyes like in a mirror or reflection hes in a constant state of being catatonic and being influenced by himself to do his own evil? If cory got his evil from looking in michaels eyes then michael looking into his own eyes should be like a self charging battery or always getting eviler and more powerful. Not what i would go with, im fine with michael just staring out the window just thinking wating watching being in his own head and almost being in a trance or standby state like how he was as a kid in smiths grove. not knowing what drives michael, why he does what he does and when he does it or what he is is always the best route to go with him. you can have ideas and theories in the movies to try and explain it away but they could be wrong too and no one knows what drives him or what or why he is what is. the shape is like a force of nature or the human embodiment of evil being a force of nature that cant be fought or stopped like the wind or the waves in the ocean. even in h6 with the cult he could just be using the cult to keep on freely killing. he kills judith before he goes to smiths grove where he would get the thorn curse, so hes already evil and could be using the cult and acting like their tool for sacrifice but they dont truely control him nor does he care about their ambitions hes only interested in playing possum and using his surroundings and people in it to get further to his goal of killing. maybe he goes after his family for the cult or maybe he takes advantage of them and their beliefs to freely do what he wants while also going after random people and the ones in his family. thus being a harborer of evil that can cause others to do evil or do evil things michaels evil might be what drives the cult to do what they do not knowing that michael is the influence over them all. maybe he kills in the h20 timeline cause he wants to kill his sisters based on what loomis finds out but whos to say loomis is right with why hes after her and its just a coincidence that theyre related. he kills anyone he wants or gets in his way and laurie just might be the victim that got away and he wants to finish the job or maybe hes after her because she reminds him of judith and wants to keep killing judith and laurie just happens to look like judith since theyre sisters
Right. *"if michael looks into his own eyes like in a mirror or reflection hes in a constant state of being catatonic and being influenced by himself to do his own evil? If cory got his evil from looking in michaels eyes then michael looking into his own eyes should be like a self charging battery or always getting eviler and more powerful.* Michael is seeing the evil inside of himself. I think that's what the writers of this trilogy had in mind. Mike mentioned the 'Halloween Kills' Novelization, which makes a point that Michael is staring at his own reflection. It states he sees "something more", and then leaves on a cliffhanger. Everyone who read it wanted _so bad_ to know what Michael was seeing, so my conjecture is that the writers intended what we see in 'Ends' to be the reveal. He's seeing what's _inside_ of him, and what's inside has the same effect on him as Corey (which, as you stated, re-charges him).
Im glad though that this will be jamie lee curtis' last halloween film and we wont see laurie again anymore. Ever since 1998 when she came back in H20 the whole series and remakes have centered around michael and laurie. We havent had a halloween story center around anyone but laurie for 24 years and i think its time we do something different. Jamie Lee curtis only came back to the series cause her movie career was slowing down and wanted to boost her ego and came in and destroyed existing cannon and rewriting lauries character to suit her real life mentality. She hated being associtated with horror or being a scream queen for years before she decided to embrace it since she wasnt getting major roles to break out of that stigma. Im sick of seeing laurie and michael battle instead of just having a simple stalker build up slasher of michael going after new victims. They have so many comics that cover stories michael was in between HII 1981 and H20 that can be made to expand the cannon while also doing new things with new characters but they keep rehashing the samething we've been seeing since 98. I hope they decide to adapt the comics to movies or at the very least do a tv mini series that can continue on from curse of michael myers and make a branching story that ties into h20 so we can finally have a conhesive timeline that still includes loomis and all of donald pleasence's great performances as that character. Imo the series died when Donald Pleasence did without loomis as the vanhelsing to michaels dracula the movies dont have that same feel of having a hero thats equal to michael.
They should have kept Cameron alive and had him lead Ends and the whole evil possessing storyline. Cameron was an established character who, imo, redeemed himself in Kills. We wouldn’t have needed to spend an hour getting to know him; , we already knew him. Allyson’s character wouldn’t have to have been changed from a strong intelligent woman to a love struck bumbling little girl to fit the narrative in Ends. Her love for Cameron would make sense and her willingness to turn her back on Laurie for Cameron wouldn’t seem so silly. Cameron surviving 2018 and Kills just to be possessed by Michael’s evil…that just sounds like a tragic, heartbreaking story. Think of this: 4 years after Kills he’s doing good, he’s not drinking, his life is on track. Him and Allyson are doing great. We’re rooting for them 100 percent. Imagine him surviving Michael, losing his dad, getting his shit together and everything looking like it’s gonna be okay just for him to succumb to this evil and ultimately NOT survive. OR, maybe he would survive. Maybe he’d become the new Shape. I just feel like Ends could have been a much better story if we weren’t bringing new characters in. I mean, imagine Return of the Jedi with all of the characters from the first three completely omitted to tell a new story… Or…OR! Tommy could have survived and led Ends and the whole possession thing. He’s been around since the 78…definitely would have been interesting to see him and Laurie at odds with eachother. It’s another direction they could have gone to really evoke emotions and make us actually give af about what was happening. I hated Ends but I have a newfound appreciation for it because I enjoy imagining the routes they could have taken with the story.
You guys are funny asf. Sadly I was at work during this stream but you guys are great and I give this film a 7/10 not what I wanted or what anybody expected but I had a great time and had a fun theater experience with this whole trilogy
I think Sondra survived because she was the caretaker of the cemetery where Judith was buried. Remember the hearse parked at the driveway of her and her husband’s house?
The thing is, blumhouse knew exactly what they were doing. The marketing was correct, it was the wrap up to Laurie and Michaels story. But they will continue. Those legacy characters are under the universal flag. The new characters are not, and they can continue. Alyson being pregnant is supposed to be hinted at, and the line, "evil never dies, it just changes shape" eludes to that.
Did anyone else notice that when they were doing the quick flashes from 1978 that they show for a split second H2 1981 when hes walking down the hallway on fire? So now if they acknowledged H2 by showing that scene they screwed their whole storyline up now. So if the scene is cannon in the flashes in Ends then that means the 81 film happens which means they are brother and sister but they contradict that by saying theyre not or that hes not after laurie even though all these movies are primarily about laurie and they keep placing him and her against eachother.
@@pattywhack69 true but showing deleted cannon footage in your timeline then makes it cannon cause the scene csnt takenolace without that movie being recognized so now they've created a paradox where h2 scenes exist but the movie and sister plot doesn't. Idk to me it's cool to see but it ruins again the story they're trying to tell and cant make up their mind what they want to use and not use.
i dont know if someone pointed it out, but the micheal stone carving was how loomis said “micheal was looking into his reflection not out of the window” so it’s kindve like that so he can see his reflection in the stone
Maybe Cory getting the mask was what Micheal wanted. Can you imagine the smell OMG the funk. It should have been Micheal forcing him to put it on while Cory was gagging lol.
Also…. I wish they hadn’t shown Cory take his mask when he did. I forgot he took it for a minute after I watched it and was thinking back, and thought, “wait a minute, was it actually Michael that went into the radio station and did the murderin’??” It made sense timeline wise because Cory was at Laurie’s, and when Allison sees the fire and Michael arrives, it would add up. And I got excited about that. But then I remembered…..
You can put the mask on anyone but if it isn’t Michael beneath the mask, it isn’t the same. That’s why the whole “someone else donning the mask and being the NEW Michael” isn’t appealing to me. I watch Halloween for the CHARACTER of Michael Myers. If I want to watch a franchise where there’s always a different person beneath the mask, I’ll watch Scream. So yeah, I’m with you. I was excited when I realized Michael was going to be doing most of the killing in the movie. But then Corey took the mask from him and I checked out completely. I imagine that’s the point where people have been walking out of theaters.
I mean.. u could clearly tell it was Corey in that scene regardless.. it’s not like Corey doesn’t have a completely different build and stature than Michael.. Corey looked much smaller like Dick Murdock in H2. That’s why I said they shoulda used someone as big as Michael to play Corey
@@JoKiR90 I mean that isn’t what they were going for. It’s not the new “Michael”. It’s the new Boogeyman. Or The Shape as they call it. Which means The Shape of Evil. There is only one Michael Myers. But someone else can become The Shape of Evil. People are just used to saying the name Michael Myers that they forget who or what his character really is
Corey wrestling Michael reminded me of you guys as Loomis and Michael. You guys could do a better job than the stupid worst movie of the franchise being DGG's ripping off of the audience.
I went into it with an open mind just because we all know there’ll be new films and timelines but I personally enjoyed it while recognizing its flaws. It gets a solid 6/10 for me
Remember Karen? Laurie doesn’t. I love how fast she got over her 2nd traumatic encounter with Michael 40 years later after stressing the whole time since 78. 4 years after killing her daughter……Ah time to move on with life hair did up , dressed up.. No you’re supposed to be on a hunt for Michael being at large til your final breath. And Hawkins was just useless
Another thing is that they were able to bleed him out at the end but he was also able to take a huge butcher knife to the middle of the chest and was able to sit straight up which yanked the knife back out of him and he took it like it was nothing!!! But they can bleed him out??
Was that Oscar’s mom that was hanging in front of that house when they showed that montage of the Aftermath of H-Kills?.. Also they didn’t mention Tommy or Lonnie’s deaths
How I would explain busta rhymes Kung fu-ing micheal in Ressuerction is that earlier it established that he was into Kung fu movies and gives the impression he was a martial artist. Only thing that made it silly was the noises.
In the fight scene of Halloween when Allison and Cameron fighting Michael, Did anyone notice that Michael pulls Allison by the hair and looks into her eyes, Before tossing her down the stairs... What if he's trying to see if she is worthy of being evil?
People are trying to hard to justify some of the things in this awful movie...It wasn't a Halloween movie, the end of a trilogy...It was Corey & Laurie A Halloween Story an ABC Afterschool Special presentation about bullying....the town didn't bully 6 year old Michael into Michael, there was no psychic power passing the awful idea they used in Halloween 5 atleast she was a relative.... The whole Corey thing could have been a good movie, a good Halloween Anthology movie, after several more passes of the script to improve the story....They could have sprinkled in Corey in the background through the movie and then made an Anthology movie without Michael that isn't meant to be the end of a trilogy..... As is Halloween Ends is The Last Jedi of Halloween movies, they did what I would bet Jamie Lee Curtis wanted to do with the bullying story, ignored everything that came before it.
Honestly really hated this movie and i enjoyed 2018 and kills for what they are. Its not a bad movie from a filming or acting perspective but the story shows it was rewritten by 4 other writers. They half bake so many ideas and plot points only for them to go nowhere or just feel like they don't belong in the overall story this trilogy tries to tell. The whole trilogy goes back and forth on if michael is human or something else and the character archs of major characters change depending on the movie they're in. why bring hawkins back in kills and tell his story from 78 and say hes going to be the one to put a bullet in his skull to make up for his mistake just to not have him in it at all dealing with michael as if he just abandoned his whole revenge/redemption angle. Why would Laurie be so gun ho on killing michael at the end of kills for killing karen just to act and be normal grandma by ends. Why introduce an important character like cory in this film instead of having him fleshed out since 2018 so he doesnt take up the whole plot of ends only to kill him at the end. They made a plot point of Alison and cory's relationship only to not have Alison face him and make the build up of their love a struggling issue and having to kill the one they love. Laurie and Michael only battle and face off in only the end scenes while we're believed that this is going to be the ultimate battle and ending of their arch only to get a lacluster fight compared to what we saw in 2018 and the fights in kills. They changed both endings of 2018 and kills too so overall the triology didnt have a cohesive story to branch 3 films that they were confident in telling. They establish michaels not after Laurie but keeps getting placed in his path just for a reason to have them interact. If they wanted to make it about Laurie and Michael they shouldnt have made it that you have to make multiple plot points just to get them together. Sometimes keeping the plot simple is better. In 2018 dgg says hes just a man and human but have him doing unnatural inhuman things and then have him doing crazy shit he survives in kills. in Kills they say the more he kills the more he transcends but then make him weak and fable even after all the killing in kills plus it says he drags people into the sewer and kills so why wouldnt he be strong if hes still killing people. which brings up the fact why does he need cory to kill to get stronger if he was doing it himself for 4 years. why make it seem like michaels okay being fucked with by a teenage kid instead of having his unstoppable rage to kill. The fact hes living in the sewer drain also throws me out of the movie. You cant tell me after all the death in Kills that the manhunt for myers wouldnt have had them check that drain pipe or that no waterplant workers never had to go and check or do repairs in 4 years even if michael killed the people going in if they never came out youd think that something would be up with that drain pipe and go in heavier to investigate. I would have preferred if they went the resurrection route and had him live in the sewer tunnels under his house that were sealed off. they constantly hint that the mask has a part in his evil or it has some kind of power too only to not go full force with it either. honestly making the mask be a silver shamrock product that had the chip in the back would have been a better pay off for what they were building up to only to just drop it and never bring it up again. They did so much wrong in this film that it ruins the trilogy they made, its honestly the disney star wars trilogy in halloween form.
It’s like they were in the writers room and had everyone write down an idea, and they were like ,”yea, we will work em all in somehow!” Doesn’t matter if it doesn’t make sense!
There was an unknown mystique to Michael in Halloween 1978; Carpenter clearly did not want the camera focusing on “The Shape” for more than a couple seconds while Michael was stalking.
I kind of thought that Corey stabbed himself to set up Laurie because he knew he would come back. I mean he knew something about it because he was practicing jumping off the radio station roof. He was far gone enough to not care but I do think that he took a gamble and it DID pay off because he came back just long enough to get his neck snapped.
My question I have is did Corey accidentally kill that kid or was it intentionally? I just don't see how Corey kicking the door open sends the kid over the railing. Knocking him to the ground sure. But over the railing. It's a stretch for me. I reckon he kicks the door open and he's in some sort of rage picks the kid up and throws him over the railing and Haddonfield secretly cheers Corey for doing it. I really liked Corey's storyline in this movie. I just hated how it ended. I'd of loved to see him become the new Michael and Allyson become the new Laurie. I'd love to see more Halloween movies with Andi Matichak as the final girl.
What up guys. Do you guys ever do something where people can call in almost like old school radio talk show style? (E.g., Halloween 6 style!). I think it would be dope.
Love you guys great video as always I actually joined the chat last night man am I getting old lol I don't know if you guys are aware but there're 3 books written by an author named Kelly O'rourke that are based in Haddonfield and do have michael in them but it follows different characters I believe they're unfortunately very hard to get
Idk. It’s weird. I’ve seen a lot of fans try so hard to defend this movie. And it’s not like a Jason X type of guilty pleasure defense. They are trying to pretend the movie is objectively good and mid to top tier lol. Denial. It’s a pile of garbage and an insult to Micheal Myers
Yep all these channels are big now and are profiting from how many subscribers and views they are getting. They have the attention of the film industry and have to be politically correct and not tell the absolute truth on how bad this piece of shit movie really is. It's sad to see.
ive ranted this like 100 times, but it would have made much more sense to use Karen as the copy cat/helper/new shape like character, with the radio tower, or mask, to give fans that pay off, not over explained, an boom, so fast an easy to set up, then we got a lot more movie to play with, more Michael, more kills, better story, the emotional turmoil an shock of Laurie & Alison having to face what use to be her mom/daughter, an a much longer more epic final fight, plus some people liked Karen so it also effect the audience, more then Cory did anyway, an who wouldn't like a female shape, with her own outfit/mask/weapons, all that could have been obtained out of little John / big johns place,,,, that could have been ba, an there is so much they could have done with that premise, or if not her, it still would have made more sense, an took way less runtime to set up by using camren, yes even with him being ded, because Michael is super natural anyway, from the end of the original first movie, especially with what he does an goes through in 2018 an kills, so the fact they explicitly went with him just being a normal guy is so dumb, cause even in ends he does more then a normal dude that age could do, an if they used camren it could have been a surprise later in the movie, just imagine, new copy cat, an eventually we end up finding out that what use to be camren is now a shape like character, they didn't even have to explain how Michael brings him back, it's no more crazier then him transferring his PUREEE EVILLLL ESSENCE!!!! by staring into a persons eyes, or, even crazier an I argue better than Cory, is having Laurie become the shape like character after losing to Michael, an Alison becomes the final girl, that could have went some really interesting crazy place's, an see all of these, still keep Michael as the main focus an take way less movie to set up, an add a lot more lore that they could have hinted at an used for a future sequel, yeah we get the possible pregnant Alison that may give birth to an evil Myers's like kid, an he/she will be drawn to the mask at granny's, but that is basically all we got out of the whole 90 percent of the movie, the ending was a lack luster 5 ish mins that felt tacked on, like they completely forgot this was supposed to be a Halloween movie, an not just any Halloween movie, the freaking finale to the freaking franchise, but it's like once they finally figured this out, they only had 2 hours left to film an 1 set, so that is what we got, man, so disappointing, ,at least Michaels design was pretty dope, not as cool as kills or 78 flash back, but if neca makes an ultimate ends Myers's, id definitely add it to the collection, I really wonder why they didn't try harder with corys design, it's almost like they don't want to make merchandise or something
Guys, Something that i think would be awesome for yall is do a podcast version of the show. I love listening to you guys and not all the time do i watch the actual video i just listen to yall.
if it took place one year later instead of 4 and the cory storyline was a way of michael manipulating him to have him bring him kills so he can transcend like they said in the last movie to go out and once hes at full evil start raising hell again. Cory follows him around to watch and learns from him but michael doesnt bring cory along he just watches and stalks michael to learn from him so we dont have to have michael be his apprentice. Laurie and Alison see that its all happeing again. Alison starts getting weird feelings and odd deaths start springing up around her that involve people she complained to cory about.Laurie is determined to finish michael and her obsession with michael and killing him parallels loomis. Laurie writes a book for closure on this chapter on her life and to document what michael is and how something like this effects your life. Hawkins and Laurie are already dating albeit having trust issues cause of the growing obsession and shutting hawkins out of that part of her life. when shes determined to go after myers hawkins takes the reigns as the hunter to help laurie and her unhealthy obsession, and make up for his mistake in 1978. this would finish off his arch of wanting to kill michael and set right what he caused. Laurie and hawkins hunt michael down they have an epic chase and fight with michael before they lose him after hearing of murders in 2 different areas nowhere near each other. They end up chasing the opposite murder scene then where michael is heading. Myers then starts killing people like in 2018 and kills going door to door killing randomly. mostly just babysitters to bring back the 78 feel. Michael ends up following alison after seeing her walking around looking for cory. Alison gets chased until she gets to lauries house and gets left in at the last miinute by hawkins. Micheal sneaks in after cory trys to come in to see alison.Michael sneaks in and stalks in the house as they try to fortify and keep him out as they come up with a plan. Michael sneaks out of nowhere while Laurie is contemplating suicide and shoots who she thinks is michael but its cory. Alison gets mad at laurie for shooting cory and argues before laurie leaves the room and gets ambushed by Michael. His mask emerges from the dark doorway like h1. Michael gets the upper hand heavily wounding Laurie. Hawkins fights backs dealing a lot of damage to michael to save laurie. Hawkins goes to put the finishing shot on michael while cory hugs alison Cory puts on his scarecrow mask and tries to kill alison but hawkins attacks cory. Alison is shocked why hawkins is trying to kill Cory. cory then brutally murders hawkins right in front of Laurie as shes to weak to stop anything while alison sees cory for what he is. alison tries to help laurie until cory comes in wearing his mask and tries to manipulate her. alison rejects him seeing the evil in him. Cory kills hawkins. both laurie and alison fighting 2 different but the same evils mirroring each other representing that evil can exist in every generation or any form. Alison tries to kill cory in an emotional scene where shes wounded cory but cant go through with it cause shes not a killer and cant be one like cory. Leaving Cory to get the upper hand he gets up and stands by myers. Yelling and commanding him to kill both of them. Michael cocks his head at cory not moving an inch. cory smacks him in the head trying to comm and and control the Shape to do what he wants. Cory tries to kill both laurie and alison after michael doesnt move. hes grabbed by the hair and his head smashed into the wall before stabing him in the gut and lifts him across the room staring into corys eyes as he wonders why he stabbed him. Michael slams him to the ground and stabs him like he stabbed judith. Michael then turns his attention to the Strodes. He goes to kill Laurie after she starts crawling over to grab her 357 revolver. Alison comes in with cory's knife in hand and slices michaels achilles heel to drop him down to a knee temporarily before they gang up on him and force him to be pinned down to the island. they still kill michael with both laurie and alison bleeding him out but dont remove his mask and make him seem vulnerable. use the alternate ending of him being taken to the morgue to be burned in the incinerator. alison leaves haddonfield to continue her life right after they see the body burn and drives out of haddonfield that night not looking back. now that she knows michaels dead she can leave laurie guilt free and can live a free life. laurie can start to live a normal life after 41 years of fear. cliff hanger ending after they get back to the house after the burning they notice that cory's body is gone like the 78 ending. Laurie asks who took the body and where its at. The Black Sheriff character says it was taken to the morgue they were just at. both bodies were transported in separate vans to the morgue leaving the audience to ponder was it michael they burned in the incinerator or was it cory that they burned in michaels mask or did michael get burned and cory is now still out there. Laurie not knowing if hes truely dead or if alison will be safe stil weighs on her. Laurie finished her book and is going to have a book around haddonfield and the local mall. while at the book signing she has a shy girl ask for an autograph while laurie signs the book and gets photos with fans throughout the day. Laurie goes to get the photos developed but notices something odd about them. She flips through the photos checking them all franticlly and drops the photos while she breaks down defeat. we see in the dropped photos that every one that she took with fans has michael in the background watching and staring as if hes staring through the photo at her. Laurie is now having paranoia of michael everywhere she goes constantly being haunted by the shape and unable to determine if hes real or not or if it is truly over or all in her head. we then get left with location shots of all over haddonfield where laurie had taken the pictures all of them are also places where michael caused mayhem as well. we see faint out of focus shots of a figure in each photo. each photo shot getting clearer and clearer. the last photo we see the myers house(in my story the house isnt demolished just abandoned) and in judiths room window we can clearly see michael standing in the window looking out almost as if hes looking at the audience through the photo. His heavy breathing can be heard getting louder over each photo shown and gets the loudest when we end on the myers house photo. cut to black and cue the halloween theme.
I liked the dark ending in the novel look always figured it'll end like that I didn't think of Laurie but why not lol. Knew it'll continue with someone lol
Ends s@@@s the bed in the 3rd act, we get 90 mins of Corey and he gets a pointless death. The Laurie vs Michael stuff was pretty damn dull. H20 and H40 did a far better job. I think it's safe to say that this never should have been a trilogy because they didn't have a plan or enough material.
I still want to know who engraved Michael's face into the Sewer walls ?? You see effergees of him in a few spots on the walls I'm in the camp that ressurection is a better movie . Its more entertaining than ends . Its funny as hell and a better way to waste an hour an a half than Ends.
Loved the movie, usually agree with j more than Mike but I gotta say agree with Mike on this movie. See the problems, actually will say it seems more like a new beginning(not ft13) rather like a 1st entry(Anthology territory)than a ending to a trilogy, but overall it's pretty great
I think Cameron should have been In Corey’s place if he survived and he could have been in a deep depression over his dad’s death and he became obsessed with Michael. Don’t forget everyone said Cameron was a bad guy and he was a drinker.
Maybe they figured they didn't need to explain it that you can figure it out lol. They had to weaken him for Laurie to have a chance to beat him lol. If he can take out A mob of people no problem then Laurie stands no chance but you know they're going to find a way lol.
I just feel like it’s so easy to capture that 78 just don’t shove Michael all up in the camera as bad ass as he looks and the kills are it took the scariness out of Halloween 78 was a genuine creepy movie never knew when Michael would jump out and that music would hit now every movie it’s like fuck that just show Michael and make him have the most brutal kills.
I think all that with Jeremy was a joke that wasn't real they were f ing with corey lol. And they did that in the novel Laurie had flashbacks she's like do it and the darkness went into her lol. In original Laurie had a psychic connection that's why she knew when he was around not necessarily like everyone is obvious lol.
Old to this subject but have been watching you guys since 2017. I liked 2018 Halloween but this all felt like a cash grab. This wasn’t planned as a trilogy they seen the money and then decided to make it a trilogy even though I like 2018 I knew with the ending DGG didn’t know how to end a Halloween movie in a nice way like carpenter did. Even if it’s a stand alone Michael doesn’t have to die just throwing him in a trap basement with fire?? Dude 40 years later you could’ve came up with something way better or something better than that. I think Halloween kills is the best besides the dumb evil dies tonight imagine kills as it’s stand alone movie like if DDG came out with kills in 2018 alone. Take some things from 2018 like the bus crashing and tie it in with the firefighter scene like you could’ve had it to where the bus crashed and Laurie thinking and waiting for Michael to come after her has already went after some random family and somehow the house caught fire and then you get a iconic firefighter scene still but better because Laurie and nobody knows that it’s Michael Myers that’s attacked this random family and during the attack somehow the house catches fire. Then the crazy he’s mortal he’s not mortal like 4 years in a sewer stabbed everywhere shot and fingers blew off if he was a man he’d be dead from the common fucking cold and infection. It just felt like they said fuck it just make it look pretty get that classic updated carpenter music and just do a bunch of fan service. They can’t seem to see what made the OG so great. You barely have Michael on camera but you hear the breathing and you know he’s near it’s not hard at all Michael doesn’t have to be supernatural at all what made him seem that way in the OG was he was precise and snake like always in the shadows he’d stalk but for only a few moments. You wouldn’t get a chance to take his mask off because he would never fall for an attack he was so calculated. Literally give us an awesome Michael new characters and you can easily capture that eerie amazing Halloween vibe you barely show Michael only here and there and you make his kills calculated. Ever since the OG it’s been about showing how strong or how brutal he can be always trying to show him walking or something which is fine but what made the OG so great was you didn’t see but you knew he was near and about to strike any second now it’s gotta be up close and personal let’s show Michael stomping a head or something no Michael kills quick
I really liked the movie just wished we had Allyson put the final nail in the coffin in Michael and the final battle to be in the junkyard or by radio tower or the Myers’s house if it wasn’t bulldozed down but with all the backlash from this movie they could do another sequel cuz Laurie has his mask and someone could steel it and go on a mass murder spree then give all the remaining characters like Hawkins Lindsay Allyson sherif barker and Laurie and even little Julian a proper send off whether they die or survive and then burn and destroy the mask once and for all and Allyson should be the one to be head of the franchise she deserves it and I loved all 3 movies and I hope we get more Halloween ASAP in theaters
To go along with Corey getting power and evil from Michael. Makes sense due to Corey can hardly defend himself against a skinny, small band geek but then after encountering Michael he can all of a sudden brutally kill people.
I like the movie especially Corey's character and I think that's why I liked the movie so much but I hate that scene so much, they could've done it like this.. Corey realizes he's not as experienced as a killer when he messed up on getting the nurse and Michael had to come in clutch so the next day Corey goes in the sewer and Michael is not in camera he's in the dark and Corey says "teach me how to be like you" (or something along those lines) and from the darkness you just see the mask get thrown to Corey's feet, Corey looks down at it, looks back at the darkness where Michael is at and proceeds to grab the mask, turns the mask to where the mask and him are staring at each other and cue the Halloween theme and than end scene
Not a huge fan of Ends but they at least did turn it back to where Michael sought out Laurie as opposed to how he didn’t in kills and in 2018 Dr. Sartain making sure micheal and Laurie crossed patches … come to think of it they left a few thing out that they should’ve retouched on like the meaning of the mask to Michael and why Michael would stare outta Judith’s window and more shit… not to mention in Ends the obvious turd in the soup where they made him like a fucked up beyond repair 100% human old man at first that’s fucked up with all kinds of improperly healed wounds instead of the questionably supernatural thing that Michael is
I would of loved if Myers would of killed the granddaughter and Laurie and Myers would of killed each other in a final battle .. Laurie would of still went down as hero while us fans got to see Myers go out with a bang…
I think Michael was weak cause it wasn't Halloween yet.. if I recall correct all events that happened with him and Corey in the sewer was before the movie shows October 31st hence why Michael gained a little bit of power from his first stabbing ... Now i don't remember if it was October 31st or not when Corey stole his mask but fuck it, Michael let him haha I'm convinced
Everyone saying the same thing I’ll be a lil different yes this movie was disappointing but one thing nobody is talking about is how they made it seem like 4years time jump was equivalent to a 10 year time gap
I have to say I really injured HALLOWEEN ENDS. Would of liked more Michael. But was happy with what we got. JLC was amazing and sexy was fuck. I think when Michael looked in his eyes some of Michael's evil went to Cory. Love ur fucking faces keep all ur good work up💯🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎥
Just finished the vid, been pissed off all day, of course I'm in the wrong, my friend who chewed me out was right, I admit that, you guys definitely helped me, get over my self thank you so much I liked Halloween Ends, it is by far not the best but still good in my opinion I love the final battle bleeding out, then taken through the town then crushed in the compactor with everyone witnessing the end of Michael, Finally Laurie Allison and the town can get closure, though the memory will still haunt the town, it's time for Haddonfield to start the healing
@@beelzeboo
Ok, but In the next scene.
@@beelzeboo
Yh.
Michael “empowers” or sees pics of him and Allyson from that photo booth machine with him and Allison from earlier that night and motivates him to go trick or treating again “ (I would even take something like that over some kid getting released to come back to bitch him out for his mask)
I feel disgusted.
I have been loving these 3+ hour streams. Literally gets me through my work days to catch up on one I missed. Thanks WWAM and FAM!
In Stan Helsing, "Myers" had a "cave" he took his bodies. they're just paying homage lmao.
My favorite part...Laurie has michaels hands pinned and left leg crushed by fridge. It pans over to his right leg still trying to kick Laurie. I laughed out loud in the theater. 😆 🦵
This movie definitely subverted my expectations. Just like the last Jedi.
💩
I'm so glad you talked about deep-faking the mask in some of the sequels. I've thought for several years this is a thing that SOMEONE needs to try, and I find it hard to believe it couldn't be pulled off based on the deep-fakes that exist these days. Give me a deep-fake classic mask for Halloween 4 and it's instantly the best sequel, without question.
h4 would be the best Halloween movie, period if it had the original mask lol
I'm glad the Strode timeline is done. This is a Michael Myers franchise, need new victims and keep Michael!
Laurie shows him his own eyes in the reflection of the knife before she slashes his throat.
Right. *"if michael looks into his own eyes like in a mirror or reflection hes in a constant state of being catatonic and being influenced by himself to do his own evil? If cory got his evil from looking in michaels eyes then michael looking into his own eyes should be like a self charging battery or always getting eviler and more powerful.*
Michael is seeing the evil inside of himself.
@@systemmonitor5295 Ooh! And he rips his hand off the knife right after that! Nice detail! 👍
I mean, imagine Return of the Jedi with all of the characters from the first three completely omitted to tell a new story…
Or…OR!
The time jump ruined it for me , Michael was so tired at the final battle in the kitchen.
I think it was just a fun little thing for super fans to pick up on! Good job!
@@BillRizer193 I don’t really think it’s that deep 🤷♂️
SOOOOO….did we just never find out what the cop whispered to Laurie at the end of Kills?
This movie made me like Kills more.. I realized I enjoy Michael going around killing on Halloween!
I caught the tell end of the stream but I love WWAM thx u guys for all the postive Entergy and helping me through down times 💯💯💯❤🤘🔪🎃
Great live stream… I think a lot of WWAM fam got their opinions out there! Thank’s Mike & J ! As always you are both the best! ♥️♥️🎃 luv Linda x
Id like to ask Green what his vision was for the 3 movies taking place om the same night..and how did Myers stay week for 4 years,???
Michael isn't dead. Whoever had final say over this flaky-ass movie doesn't get to decide the fate of Michael Myers. No way.
i dont know if someone pointed it out, but the micheal stone carving was how loomis said “micheal was looking into his reflection not out of the window” so it’s kindve like that so he can see his reflection in the stone
He wasnt just staring out the window. He was staring at his reflection, that was the exact location where the evil was born.
Maybe Cory getting the mask was what Micheal wanted. Can you imagine the smell OMG the funk. It should have been Micheal forcing him to put it on while Cory was gagging lol.
Watching this long ass replay 😂
People are just used to saying the name Michael Myers that they forget who or what his character really is
2:59:30 I'm literally dying. Can't breathe. Fkn hilarious
Corey wrestling Michael reminded me of you guys as Loomis and Michael. You guys could do a better job than the stupid worst movie of the franchise being DGG's ripping off of the audience.
Same , after the shock of horror of witnessing such a stupid ass scene. I’m like did they slide in a clip from this channel ? It came off like a spoof
Both those genres of music fit so well with Mike lmaoo
I give it a 5 ,how Michael got he's mask taken might as well been Busta doing it
It was so sad that people were shamed and treated like crap if you liked it. We have to remember it’s only a movie and they will make more.
Lmao I actually cried when Michael died too. Me and that super chatter are fucked up
I went into it with an open mind just because we all know there’ll be new films and timelines but I personally enjoyed it while recognizing its flaws.
It was the years after Kills where the town still felt the presence of Michael's evil and other people's physical evil
It was the off screen kills for me….felt like I was watching a Disney movie
How I would explain busta rhymes Kung fu-ing micheal in Ressuerction is that earlier it established that he was into Kung fu movies and gives the impression he was a martial artist. Only thing that made it silly was the noises.
In the fight scene of Halloween when Allison and Cameron fighting Michael, Did anyone notice that Michael pulls Allison by the hair and looks into her eyes, Before tossing her down the stairs... What if he's trying to see if she is worthy of being evil?
I like that idea!!
Did you catch the title of Laurie’s book? Stalkers, Saviors, and Samhain
Kinda late to do all that in your third installment of a trilogy lol
@@Leg3ndKilla687 yes, it makes no sense to have so little Michael in this movie… we need a fourth film in this trilogy… a proper sequel to Kills.
To clarify, I understand what a trilogy is… this is what it’s come to 🫣
I kind of thought that Corey stabbed himself to set up Laurie because he knew he would come back. I mean he knew something about it because he was practicing jumping off the radio station roof. He was far gone enough to not care but I do think that he took a gamble and it DID pay off because he came back just long enough to get his neck snapped.
J looks like he's about to drop a song called "Escape Artist", "..make some noise for Sage Francis y'all!"
In this movie, I think Michael got adamantium in his blood and was dying from the toxins
One of my favorite villains
What up guys. Do you guys ever do something where people can call in almost like old school radio talk show style? (E.g., Halloween 6 style!). I think it would be dope.
Love you guys great video as always I actually joined the chat last night man am I getting old lol I don't know if you guys are aware but there're 3 books written by an author named Kelly O'rourke that are based in Haddonfield and do have michael in them but it follows different characters I believe they're unfortunately very hard to get
How does Mike give the movie such a high ranking but yet has so many problems with the movie that die hard Halloween fans have???!!
Idk.
@@jskypercussion I don’t think so, necessarily. Jay didn’t like it so much.
@@SuperMelrose1 I can definitely tell J didn't like it.
@@jskypercussion This movie is far from a POS
ive ranted this like 100 times, but it would have made much more sense to use Karen as the copy cat/helper/new shape like character,
with the radio tower, or mask, to give fans that pay off, not over explained,
an boom, so fast an easy to set up, then we got a lot more movie to play with, more Michael, more kills, better story,
the emotional turmoil an shock of Laurie & Alison having to face what use to be her mom/daughter,
an a much longer more epic final fight,
plus some people liked Karen so it also effect the audience, more then Cory did anyway,
an who wouldn't like a female shape, with her own outfit/mask/weapons, all that could have been obtained out of little John / big johns place,,,,
that could have been ba, an there is so much they could have done with that premise,
or if not her, it still would have made more sense, an took way less runtime to set up by using camren, yes even with him being ded, because Michael is super natural anyway, from the end of the original first movie, especially with what he does an goes through in 2018 an kills,
so the fact they explicitly went with him just being a normal guy is so dumb, cause even in ends he does more then a normal dude that age could do,
an if they used camren it could have been a surprise later in the movie, just imagine, new copy cat, an eventually we end up finding out that what use to be camren is now a shape like character,
they didn't even have to explain how Michael brings him back, it's no more crazier then him transferring his PUREEE EVILLLL ESSENCE!!!! by staring into a persons eyes,
or, even crazier an I argue better than Cory, is having Laurie become the shape like character after losing to Michael, an Alison becomes the final girl,
that could have went some really interesting crazy place's,
an see all of these, still keep Michael as the main focus an take way less movie to set up, an add a lot more lore that they could have hinted at an used for a future sequel,
yeah we get the possible pregnant Alison that may give birth to an evil Myers's like kid, an he/she will be drawn to the mask at granny's,
but that is basically all we got out of the whole 90 percent of the movie,
the ending was a lack luster 5 ish mins that felt tacked on, like they completely forgot this was supposed to be a Halloween movie, an not just any Halloween movie, the freaking finale to the freaking franchise,
but it's like once they finally figured this out, they only had 2 hours left to film an 1 set,
so that is what we got,
man, so disappointing, ,at least Michaels design was pretty dope, not as cool as kills or 78 flash back,
but if neca makes an ultimate ends Myers's, id definitely add it to the collection,
I really wonder why they didn't try harder with corys design, it's almost like they don't want to make merchandise or something
Corey Cunningham was on Halloween 5 he was the little boy That saw Dr Wynn get off the bus
Guys,
Something that i think would be awesome for yall is do a podcast version of the show. I love listening to you guys and not all the time do i watch the actual video i just listen to yall.
But then those nice little 199.99 donations to them won’t happen, as much
@@Leg3ndKilla687 they put alot of time into their channel for us Halloween fans, they deserve to make some money out of it
Dude my girlfriend mentioned the spaghetti sauce on the milk glass the second time we watched it and I gagged lmfao Jesus
The actor that played Ramsay in Game of Thrones is an interesting choice for Freddy
I liked this film, but for it work more smoother over the trilogy, the character of Corey should have been introduced in Halloween(2018).
Mike Myers should become a rapper. You know he going to slash his way up the Billboards
Michael was 23 in 1978 and Corey was 21 in 2019 and then 23 or 24 in 2022 in Halloween Ends.
Over a third of this stream is dedicated to absolutely pointless super chats. Is there any way to disable them in future videos?
Halloween Ends the finale last one she did it brought peace to Haddonfield saxrifies were made along the way .
👍👍👍👍
if it took place one year later instead of 4 and the cory storyline was a way of michael manipulating him to have him bring him kills so he can transcend like they said in the last movie to go out and once hes at full evil start raising hell again.
Corey is 21 when he killed Jeremy, when he kills the rest he’s 3 years older according to David Gordon Green saying it takes place in present day
Unpopular opinion Ends is the best in the trilogy
Glad to see Nick Castle ‘See anything you like?’
Michael was in the sewer with the ninja turtles 😂
I liked the dark ending in the novel look always figured it'll end like that I didn't think of Laurie but why not lol. Knew it'll continue with someone lol
Ends s@@@s the bed in the 3rd act, we get 90 mins of Corey and he gets a pointless death. The Laurie vs Michael stuff was pretty damn dull. H20 and H40 did a far better job. I think it's safe to say that this never should have been a trilogy because they didn't have a plan or enough material.
2:59:39 The face he makes priceless 😂
I still want to know who engraved Michael's face into the Sewer walls ?? You see effergees of him in a few spots on the walls
I'm in the camp that ressurection is a better movie .
Don’t forget everyone said Cameron was a bad guy and he was a drinker.
look Im broke and moving and packing at the moment, but i feel like GIVE US THE FUCKING VILLAIN ANNNNNND LAURIE LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was on ok movie. I'm sure I'll appreciate it in the future but I wanted something I could enjoy now.
Maybe they figured they didn't need to explain it that you can figure it out lol. They had to weaken him for Laurie to have a chance to beat him lol. If he can take out A mob of people no problem then Laurie stands no chance but you know they're going to find a way lol.
I just feel like it’s so easy to capture that 78 just don’t shove Michael all up in the camera as bad ass as he looks and the kills are it took the scariness out of Halloween 78 was a genuine creepy movie never knew when Michael would jump out and that music would hit now every movie it’s like fuck that just show Michael and make him have the most brutal kills.
i love y'll
Latest AFI album is fantastic. They’ve got serious Joy Division vibes now.
This Secret Ninja was my gateway.
I want a 4th movie. No Laurie Allyson and with Corey.
Tv show should be called Smith Grove the files of Dr Sam Loomis
Milk and pasghetti Wtf lunchtime in elementary that the only time in life a stomach can handle that witch potion.. shakin not stirred
LEEROY'S THE MASTER!!!!
To go along with Corey getting power and evil from Michael. Makes sense due to Corey can hardly defend himself against a skinny, small band geek but then after encountering Michael he can all of a sudden brutally kill people.
They should of had Michael and Laurie shake hands and make some Lasagna.
I wish Michael would have just given Corey the mask instead of getting beat down
I like the movie especially Corey's character and I think that's why I liked the movie so much but I hate that scene so much, they could've done it like this..
Sartain making sure micheal and Laurie crossed patches … come to think of it they left a few thing out that they should’ve retouched on like the meaning of the mask to Michael and why Michael would stare outta Judith’s window and more shit… not to mention in Ends the obvious turd in the soup where they made him like a fucked up beyond repair 100% human old man at first that’s fucked up with all kinds of improperly healed wounds instead of the questionably supernatural thing that Michael is
Trilogy lost all of its flow after kills. This movie doesn’t belong at all.
Love ur fucking faces keep all ur good work up💯🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎥
Don't ever let LOOMIS start a stream then!!! GODDAMN YOU MICHAEL!!!@#$@@🤬🤣🤣🤣
Is it weird to mention that Cory KINDA reminded me of Jimmy from Halloween II(1981)
I swear he looks like a mix of Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer
Especially with the glasses
🔥🔥🔥🙏🏼
Just finished the vid, been pissed off all day, of course I'm in the wrong, my friend who chewed me out was right, I admit that, you guys definitely helped me, get over my self thank you so much
I liked Halloween Ends, it is by far not the best but still good in my opinion
I love the final battle bleeding out, then taken through the town then crushed in the compactor with everyone witnessing the end of Michael,
Finally Laurie Allison and the town can get closure, though the memory will still haunt the town, it's time for Haddonfield to start the healing
