I found this song first from The Midnight, but a few years later I discovered this was the original version by Tyler. It blew me away. Soon after, I found out that a few of The Midnight’s albums, like Heroes, contained verses and lines from Tyler’s album The Floating Years. I can never get over how cool this song is and how it evolved from this into its synthwave counterpart. I love both versions equally, each having their own unique genre. It’s really cool seeing some of Tyler’s other songs being integrated into The Midnight’s albums. While Tyler pursues his career in The Midnight, I hope he can some time on the side to make more music like this.
HOLY CRAP this sounds like it could be a Great Good Fine Ok song or a son.. just add some vibes and more synth. Also sounds like a song that Flor would do. I love this version... I love The Midnight's version, but this is a totally different experience.
I found the remix first and I really like this one better for some reason. I love the sound of the Midnight but it's nice to hear Tyler in a different format.
