    Hey Cody! I know you're probably not going to see this comment, but I just want to say what an inspiration your videos are. I'm a 13 yr old breaststroker looking to make sectionals/zones this year and a huge part of those goals has been watching your videos! Like you, I have a condition with my chest and ive always looked up to you and how you've taken advantage of that and it's helped me a lot. Safe to say you're my favorite swimmer/youtuber!

    i don't think i'm physically capable of going 2'02" in the 200 free, let alone the 200 breast. you're a beast!

    • @0tispunkm3y3r
      @0tispunkm3y3r 2 роки тому +15

      My 200 breast would be at least 30 seconds slower, if not more. That’s over 3 seconds per length slower! 3 seconds! Probably more like 4+ seconds. Over a single 25!
      Sometimes I think the gap between “normal” swimmers and these guys is as big as the difference between us “normal” swimmers and non-swimmers. They’re in another realm of performance that doesn’t even seem real.

    So I swam laps for the first time today. I'm 20 years old and pretty active. I could only swim about 50 yards before I felt like I was completely out of breath. Is it normal for breathing to be this hard at first? Also any guess as to how long it should take for me to be able to swim 400 consecutive? It wasn't that my muscles were tired it just felt like I physically couldn't get enough air.

    • @ethanwojnovich8961
      @ethanwojnovich8961 2 роки тому

      a problem I used to have since ur muscles aren't tired when you breathe put some extra kick and harder pull and it will lift your head high enough for a solid breathe

    • @YoussefYoussef-kj7sr
      @YoussefYoussef-kj7sr 2 роки тому

      Make sure you aren’t continuously breathing underwater. Exhale right before inhaling.

      when breathing turn your head right above your shoulder, my coach reminds us constantly that there’s always a pocket of air there for you

    ISL still hasn't paid the Season 2 swimmers. I'm concerned they're not going to pay the Season 3 swimmers. Is pro swimming "worth it" if you're not getting paid for a month away from home?

    nah, pro swim isn’t worth it. u won’t make any money and you won’t last. You won’t find any profitable carriers after and all that muscle is gone to waste. Years of regret and depression follow.
