I know right. And that goes for Calabria and Puglia. I am in Monopoli at the moment headed to Alberobello, Matera, Trani then Pompii. I have been to the north over the last 25 years WHY DID I WAIT THIS LONG TO COME HERE. OMG
@@myitaliantherapyginafiore4414 I personally found Calabria to be the most peaceful and easy going, the open landscapes, fresh clean air, less polluted. It actually does have the cleanest air in Europe (The Sila Mountains in Calabria). The people are very much in the reality, kind & hospitable. They love to stare if you are a tourist but that's only because they are curious & fascinated & want to know you. This is where I discovered Italian culture at its richest. Enjoy the rest of your stay. Also Sicily and Agrigento is worth a visit! Buon voyage!
