A ride on Madison's Cannonball Path

The Beltline overpass on the Cannonball Bike Path opened on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013. Here, Capital Times reporter Steven Elbow rides over the stretch of the path that's open on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013. Eventually, it will be a pipeline four miles long for bicyclists traveling between Fitchburg and Madison, connecting the Military Ridge State Trail, the Capital City Trail, the Badger Trail and the Southwest Bike Path.
