Not my style, but somehow I love it! I'm more of a Mazda CX-90 level person but this is hot. Remember a Bronco Raptor weighs 5733 lbs with no plug-in hybrid system, and no V8, and the Ineos Grenadier weighs 6050 lbs.
im with you on the mazda thing for sure. not for me styling-wise, but the performance ceiling is just so high that you almost forget (until you step outside the car) yeah those are heavy but those are ladder frame 4x4s so they get a pass - a dedicated performacne SUV I would want to be lighter than a Raptor lol
Yes @@dwnshft but ladder frame or not a 26kWh battery with its case and skid plate is likely 800 lbs and a Bentley Continental GTC coupe weighs 5644 lbs. If you think about the added weight of the electric motor and the hybrid transmission and cables plus that battery, I think it is amazing they got it down to 6000 lbs.
What do you do, if you live in a climate that has colder temps. The car comes with summer tires! Are winter 23 inch tires available and if so, who and where?
that's a very good question because yeah i did this test in Wisconsin and it had snowed earlier in the week. It was cold and tire temp was something I had to keep an eye on
BTW, tires are not wide and I think are ugly as well. Headliner is nice but makes no sense without fold down TV screen like the 7 series. I would wait until a few years for BMW to figure it out. For $200K plus , I would take the X5M or X6M over this and save a lot of $ and those are faster.
It is ugly and I have an allocation for Label Red but reconsidering based on looks and lack of performance. My 19 X6M slightly modified would run over the top of this and is way better looking. I may just get a Urus which is much better looking. This thing looks like a truck, not an M.
Frank let us all down with this one. No split tailgate, no towing capability, no fast charging (7kw), no 2wd (Fun mode), and no panoramic or sunroof. 😩 I’ll keep my X5 and M8
Special thanks to our Patrons for their support of the channel! Which of the super SUVs are you taking?
Your videos are very good. Keep uploading the good content. Your subscriber base will grow for sure!
Thanks for the support!
I like this thing. Maybe a nice set of sport rims would make it look even better
Not a fan of the gold?
@@dwnshft maybe the style so much but the gold trim is great
We should have an option between this roof or a open roof. And an option for a tv entertainment like the 760I for that price
The folding 8k TV will arrive as a option in the X8 (essentially the luxury version of the XM) in June.
interesting..!

Eh I'm not liking it but I'm sure it'll be once you see it in person type of thing, whch wont be long for me cause I work at a BMW dealership.
it's still pretty polarizing in person but yeah it's a little better
Why didn't they just use the 523hp engine from the m50/60i?..

Even if my Revenue had not plummeted by $2 millions for the former 2023, nope!
