Having read and re-read Mrs. Shelley's novel countless times, I have to say this figure is as "book accurate" as it can be unless I make one (humble brag). It's nice to see the yellow skin, and no bolts in the neck. As for the accessories, I believe those black "bottles" are Leyden jars, an early type of storage battery. The tall cylinder contraption with the stacked disks is a Voltaic pile, another early DC battery, and the apparatus with the wheel, cable and crank is a generator, probably used to charge the Leyden jars. They did their homework on this set, to be sure. Oddly enough, it was never specifically explained how Victor gave life to his creation, but it was hinted it was through Galvanism that he infused the "spark of being" into the dead flesh. Very cool set, and just in time for Halloween! If you have the time, do a follow up when you figure out how to assemble all the other stuff that came in the package. I'm sure everyone would like to see it set up in all its glory. Another awesome review, and as always, Keep Living the Adventure!
@@skunkworksstudios I did indeed, very good stuff. Wrightson is the best when it comes to illustrating classic horror creatures. He is in my trinity of favorite sci-fi/fantasy/comic artists alongside Frank Frazetta and the late John Romita Sr.
This is an amazing looking figure I think i mention to you before back in the 70s i used to read a comic book called son of Frankenstein and this figure reminds me of the character son of Frankenstein, everything on this figure is great even the packege with all the info and art work!
very cool figure!👍

Awesome Review! However, he reminds me of the water demon on the Ghost Rider movie.
Cool figure and great review Jeff. I just preordered my first two Mythic knights Templar and looking forward to checking them out.
Great review and toy. I prefer the traditional though. Don’t care for the “hippie” head. Like the bald ones best.
Hahaha...FIRST!
