Why is this band not huge. They've come along way from when I started listening to them with success but I just knew these guys were going to be huge. They should be. They are so underrated. Big TV was awesome along with there goes our love again and first time caller. Many great songs.

They performed "Tokyo" (which is my favourite song of them, btw) perfectly, both in vocals and orchestration! I am saving this concert as the most representative of White Lies.

White Lies, Editors, Toy, and The Horrors are bands who i think veeeeery underrated for the amount of albums and quality they produced..., i guess people not into post punk revival anymore(?), they sound so fresh tho.. I don't get why they haven't as big as lets say alt J??
I highly appreciate such records since I will most probably never get to see them live myself I can't imagine how overwhelmed I would be irl if I get chills just from looking at the screen

Why the intro and ending synth of "Farewell to Fairground" sounds so aweful in their concerts?? It always sounds very different (and worse) to the studio version.

It's called a "Festival mix". Probably a set it and forget at the sound booth. You get what you get and you don't get upset. Looking forward to seeing them love at their OWN headlining gig with excellent sound, lights, the whole bit.
