It's nice watching you guys on this trip to Sturgis. Bringing back great memories. I was there in 2013 with 6 of my riding buddies. Took 4 days going up there, 4 days there and 2 days back to Dallas. No plans or route getting there. Just met up, hit the road and figured it out on the way. We found camping spots to stay at, and restaurants to eat at as needed. Had a great time in Sturgis and riding the black hills. Last day heading home, we drove 750 miles back from Denver to Dallas. Great time and lots of fun. You guys have fun and keep the rubber side down.
I am 51, always had sport bikes, bought my first Harley, 2023 Low Rider St, love watching you guys tinker with yours, you guys are a blast to watch, keep it up!!!

51 here also, and I grew up on Rockets too bro, now I ride, buy, fix, resale Harleys...finishing up a '18 Street Glide Special, and I'm seriously considering picking up a ST...do you dig it?
@@GawgaCracka love the st, it handles the twisties like a champ, love the 117, and its around 200lbs lighter than the roadglide or street glide.
Also good for long trips. Road 5 hours to IOWA ome day and 5 hours back, no problem. I will say i am 6'2" and got a lot of wind with the stock shield. I bought the klockwerks upsweep 10 inch and got helmet vibration. I then bought the 6 inch and it is awesome.

I absolutely love the way you GUYS are having a great time! I rode to Sturgis 03,04,05, 07 and the ride is the best part! Everyone is bonding together. We rode from Seattle so well mixed it up crazing down into Yellowstone either on the way or on the way home and down to Jackson Hole. Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, What a great time guys !! Be safe. I be following your travels.
You all drove through our reservation, all the way from Flagstaff to Cortez. We love Steamworks! My husband and father in law are leaving to Sturgis tomorrow. They usually go up through Moab, onto I70 and north from Rifle, Casper…that way. Safe travels!

The day I went thru Monument Valley, in mid December, there was an azure blue sky over it, and there was broken up ice chunks, backing up, and then flowing, like frozen slush, down the San Juan River at Medicine Hat. Must have been a pretty deep freezing temperatures that night. Moab was destination.... 3 places I'll never forget.

We're thinking of taking them this year! We ride the Road Glide mainly because the fairing is attached to the frame so the wind drag doesn't pull your bars in turns like it does on the Street Glide!

Road Glide is a great bike, but if you want a little lighter, Lowrider ST is awesome
