Just because we are paying “the lowest in the nation” doesn’t justify a rate increase. Contact the public service commission and ask questions. Make your voice heard. How much have their costs increased? Does that justify the increase they want? Get involved!
If these peoples bills are so high, then solar and battery home installations make a huge amount of sense, with a very short payoff period, maybe as short as 3-5 years. Ditch these money hungry criminals running the local power utility!

Thats what my bill is every month. And i use very little electricity. But this is in ohio, not Utah.

Bermuda's residential rate is $0.52/kwh. The island's power is by Diesel generators producing 165 MW. Their fuel must be brought in by tanker ships.
Here in oregon with all the hydro power and rain, we are seeing about a 45% increase over the past 4 years !
