- Dan and Chelle start their final, full day in Victoria, British Columbia off with the royal treatment by having afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress Hotel! This will be the first time these Americans try afternoon tea, and they love it! After their delicious meal they catch a whale watch tour with Price of Whales and are pleasantly surprised to see tons of whales! They see a number of orca whales as well as humpbacks! Victoria has been amazing and they cannot wait to see what Whistler has to offer!

It was King George 6 and Queen Elizabeth. Parents of current Queen Elizabeth that were in Victoria around 1939. There has never been a King Henry 4 in contemporary times....

I am so happy you enjoyed the whale watching excursion, I traveled from victoria bc to stephenville nlfd in canada and besides living in calgary ab for 10 years the highlight of my travels will always be the orcas off the coast of vancouver island.....
Happy Anniversary! You may have visited Victoria, but a very small part of it. Like the tip, maybe 5%, but then it does take more than a few days to really see it. You were in the area we call the tourist trap! Maybe you will come by another time and see more! Have fun at Whistler!

Victoria is beautiful!! We loved our Tea at the Empress at the Fairmont. So fun. I am so glad you got to see so many whales. We saw a family of four and was so happy for that. I love reliving our trip through you. So glad you are having a great time!

Confessing I cried all through high tea at The Empress Hotel. It was exactly as I remembered from a very happy, lovely part of my life. What a joy you gave me to return through your eyes and your discovery. I loved it....SOoo much. (Winston is precious.) Yes, Victoria IS enchanting and the vlog is wonderful. ❤❤ Happy Anniversary.

What a cool day. First the royal tea, which looked delicious and very expensive. And then the royal boat tour. I was almost as excited as you to see the whales. And now that you've seen a whales tail breaching the water like you did. You must wear a whale's tail on a chain. It brings you good luck. I've been wearing one for 20+ years now after I saw a whale actually breach the water on my very first cruise in Alaska.
So we get a surprise in Friday's Vlog do we? I wonder what it could be?
Hope the weather was good for the ferry ride back to the mainland for you both.

Y’all should check into whale camp off of Baja Mexico.You actually camp in tents and go out in small boats to the whales and touch them.

Iconic Hotel...We had our Honeymoon in Victoria 31 years ago...ferry from Seattle...didn’t do High Tea there but had a fantastic dinner there...loved watching all the sea planes...the HouseBoat Community was really beautiful...but the black squirrels were our favorites...
