Nice session, Matt. 40 sounds great. Had my hands on a couple while i was a shunter at Tyseley TMD many years ago. Late 70s. One was 40 106 after its repaint to green at Crewe.
Very impressive 👏 and start up of the Class 40 from the shed and when departing from the station at jubilee road the passing shots were 👍 including that announcement which said the train approaching platform 4 does not stop here please stand away from the platform edge.
The class 40s may not have been as successful as it seemed they would be when first introduced, but they are nevertheless impressive and imposing beasts. And this particular model is amazingly photogenic in its pristine BR Green livery with SYP. I really do need to acquire one. Thanks for sharing. It looked right at home on your layout.
Great running session here Matt, got a bachmann 40 myself but it’s one of the really old and early ones where it has the 8 pin dcc blanking plate and no directional lighting, while mine may be old it’s still a nice model from bachmann.
@@stephendavies6949 bachmann have not long ago returned their 40 to their range but now with a few upgrades like the Plux22 socket but if your after a new model KR models have announced an all new one.
Very impressive class 40 Matt, really like the TMD area.
Lovely loco, very tempted. Layout is coming along nicely, some great photography locations you have on it

Hi Matt, your "whistler" is hauling well, 10 coaches no problem...🙂👍
That sounded and performed well.
Lovely engine tempted to get a class 40 myself

Really nice layout and 40.
Nice vid Matt , I think some weeds and oil stains on the tracks in the station would look good, to me it looks too clean, and maybe some graffiti.
nice loco thanks lee
