Efran, in San Francisco there is a lot of motorcycle parking that's generally pretty cheap, maybe $.35-$.75/hr. You can't park on sidewalks, but you can usually park anywhere that a car can park. If you go into the neighborhoods to Lombard Street, for example, you can park on the street (no meters) and it's really easy to find parking where full-sized cars can't fit - you're just limited by the neighborhood parking rules posted on signs every few hundred feet or so, which usually say there's a 1-2 hour limit if you don't have a permit.
