You made it easy to follow , but how do you know how many stitches it takes to make a bobble stitch?
Thank you. Very helpful.
Thank you It helped me a lot

Use whatever hook the yarn calls for. It’s on the paper the yarn comes with.
😇
Thank you so much for this video, I couldn’t figure out the written directions until I watched you work! Would you please do a video on how to crochet a tube?
Awesome tutorial! Thank you! I’m making my cousin a Harry Potter pillow for Christmas!
chain size, sc into 2nd chain from hook and then the whole row, dc [pull over first two], yarn over (tc) [pull over first two], yarn over [pull over first two], yarn over [first two], yarn over, pull through all five, sc in next stitch. !!!NEXT ROWS WILL BE 6 LOOPS INSTEAD OF 5!!!
Great tutorial, thank you so much.
Thank you so much! You have a very wonderful manner to explain this things in a simple- pretty easy to follow- clear- eloquent way.
I'm happy that I found your video.
Keep the good work, obviously you got a new subscriber 💙
I love this stitch
You do an excellent job explaining!
Thanks for the tutorial it was really simple and easy to understand :)
ty you explain very well
Love it
My bobbles seem to puff out on the back or wrong side of my work. Any advice?
based on someone else saying the same thing and the comment replies left for them from others, it could be because you're left handed. Are you? If so, that's why. You will be working your project inside out so just flip it around afterwards
Do you have any where you spell out letters with the bobble stitch?
I’m not completely sure what you’re asking but if it’s a written pattern you’re looking for, no not yet but coming soon 🤗
does this stitch look the same on both sides?
I don't think so.
No it's indented on the other side. My gran used to make these all the time c:
No it does not, puff stitches on the front and pretty generic on the back
Is there a written pattern for this anywhere?
8:16 is the first bobble
Thank you so much!!! I’m using this stitch as an accent in a blanket. So far it’s beautiful 🤩
I watched a lot tutorials to get the hang of this, this is the one that really helped it click, is it an option to chain 3 at the beginning of the row? I noticed this was the only tutorial that did that and it’s the only one I was successful with.
awesome!! oh I’m so glad to hear this. As for your question about the ch.3, yes, that is an option. what you want to be mindful of is not to count it as a stitch if you’re following particular stitch count in a pattern, that’s what can throw you off! A very helpful resource I find when following or creating patterns while using a more complicated stitch such as this one is to be more mindful of the measurements rather than the stitch counts. This advise does tend to go against popular opinion, but hey, story of my life 😄 here’s a link to my size chart page, if you’re anything like me - it will come in super handy!! Have a wonderful day & God bless

Completely agree, the 2 stich explanation x5 is what helped for me.
I love crocheting. I'll try this. Love it.😍. Easy to follow.
Im not even a teenager yet and this is so simple! anyone can do this stitch! Thank you!!! so excited!!
same
This explanation is so clear. Thank you so much.
when making the first row of bobbles my bobble was facing the back and yours was popped up toward you...I am having a hard time figuring out which I the front and backside. Help lol TY :)
wendy townsley same thing happened with me and I don’t understand why 😞
Find New Video before Starting!! Video was great at the beginning, but somehow I got lost. I watched this video a bunch of times and re did my work several times. At the at of the video it's very rushed. I found my crochet was off everytime I followed your instructions. Thumbs down for me.
Please do some more videos because yours was the only one I got. AWESOME tutorial.
Can you please tell me how I would make the Bobble larger ? Would I need to make the starting chain longer ? Or would I need to use a different crocheting stitch ?
Omg!!! Thanks so much, I looked at other tutorials and I just didn't get it... yours was perfect
at the end of a bobble row, are you supposed to finish with a single crochet or a bobble ? I did 22 chains but my last stitch is a bobble and I feel like thats wrong.
This is a great multi purpose tutorial. Thank you. I'm making a bag with it.
😊😮😊❤😮😊😮😊😮😊😮😊😮😊😮
Hello, me again. First off, love 💕 your videos, pls keep them coming 😀. Question (just a thought) instead of doing 5 stitches to make the puff (ending up with 6 loops on my crochet hook) can I do 4 stitches instead, ending up with 5 loops on my crochet hook before I yarn over and pull through all 5 stitches? Seems like it would still make a very nice puff stitch (just a tiny bit smaller), would be easier to do and I can make a twin size blanket faster. Any thoughts? Thanks so much in advance
I am in the middle of making a baby blanket with this stitch, and the recommendation was to do this with a Modified Bobble stitch, it''t 3 double crochet instead of 5 for the bobble, I think it still looks nice, and you won't use as much yarn and make the project a little lighter. Hope this helps
Thank you, you’re so good at making it simple!
Awesome video ❤ it helped so much thank you !
i got a question:can we still do the bobble stitch if we had double crochet stitches?
Could anybody explain me please thankyou very much
😊❤😮😊😮😊😮
Thank you for explaining the bobble
I am going to make a scarf
I can not figure out how to do this but in ripple style and I can not find a pattern online anywhere.
Here is a video that might help you check out a channel called mikey's mail crochet channel look up the Chevron bubble style stitch he has a video that you may be looking for
😊😮😊❤😮
Great tutorial! I tried reading the pattern and my eyes got crossed.
Hi what is the size of crochet size and the size of the wool thankyou
Wow I thought this stitch would be so hard but you explained it so well I am definitely going to try it out...thank you so much
I’d like to learn how to do color change with this stitch . Ty
Thanks so much for sharing this crochet pattern; easier to follow .
You are a great teacher. Thank you so much.
Idk what I did wrong. Just turned into a giant ball. Ugh.
thank you for starting from the VERY BEGINNING! You explained really well. One question; do i end the Bobble row with a sc to close it?
When you start the bobble rows with the 3 chains that counts as a gull double stitch. Shouldn't it be chain 2 since you have to finish it with the other dbc's to make it fully a dbc. Wouldn't it turn into a triple crochet once you finish that bobble.
Exactly what I was thinking. If you do a ch2 instead it will make the bobble pop more too.
I love this bobble stitch you explained it so well. Could you please tell me if I could use 4 ply cotton yarn, and if so what size crochet hook would I need ? Many thanks.
Thank you so much! So helpful!!
Question! When you single chain after making a bobble, are you chaining into the same foundation chain as the bobble or the next foundation chain over?
You have amazing camera position and can see stitches very clearly 😀
Thank you so much 🙂
What size hook & ply yarn please. ❤️
Thank you so much for the great explanation. I’m making a baby blanket with a heart on it but finding the more bobbles I am putting in a row, the more the row “fans” out and is causing my blanket to go wavy. What am I doing wrong? I have NOT added any more stitch. Every row still has the same amount of stitches. PLEASE help.
Could you please please please post written instructions? I loved the video but would like to have written instructions as well.🙏🏻

Do I need to add a single crochet row between each row of bobble stitches? Help! I want to get started.
Thank you I had done it but forgot how to do it
I have a question. Can I do a row of double crochets instead of singles. Just started crocheting and not real sure of things yet. Love your videos so easy to follow ❤
I’m sorry for my late reply. I don’t see why not!! I personally have not given that a try but would love to see what you come up with. Please share a pic in the Facebook group: m.facebook.com/groups/361349387617351?ref=bookmarks
Kim Woodruff, sure you can, you can even do one row of single crochet, turn your work then do a row of half double crochet, turn work then row of puff stitches, turn work row of single crochet, turn work then row of half double, then row of puff. It makes for a very nice combination. So many variations and the instructor is fantastic!!
Thanx so much. Just what I have been looking for
Thank you!
Thank you for your very clear instruction!
My pleasure, thank you for the kind feedback
This is a great tutorial. The pattern is super easy, and so beautiful. Thank you
