It also encourages the love of Jesus and encompasses the empowerment for holy living among his disciples. In this Seven Minute Seminary, Dr. Steve Seamands encourages us to consider John Wesley as a model for how to responsibly welcome the ministry of the Holy Spirit among us.

The present age seems to suggest a minimized cessation in miracles and wonders of Yahweh though not entirely. Humanity is situated in a highly educated and technologically advanced time. God moved in times past with miracles as self revelatory means and Jesus utilized them to authenticate his ministry. This milieu has Scripture as authority and special revelation. And yet, the Holy Spirit still works the miraculous as Dr. Keener catalogues. It is amazing to witness the move of God in such vast ways.

Wesley can't help you. Only The Ghost teaching you in all Truth. Men put way to much stock in men regardless if it was Paul or even John the Baptist. You need to tap into the same spirit they received revelation from. Then God will interpret his own word for you. God made a way it's so simple, not the way we're doing it.
