The yellow jumpsuit is super cute on you.💛 That green leo is gorgeous💚, and you look so elegant when doing your class. Black eyed peas singing "I gotta feeling" Brilliant😊
Lori, I enjoy your vlogs so much. I have always been interested in ballet, but I grew up in a rural area that didn't offer such things as ballet schools. You are lovely and graceful. I have enjoyed visiting Mexico with you. It is a beautiful country.🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
You look perfectly at home in the company classes! As you did in the castle lol. Such a beautiful place. Adored the yellow jumpsuit too. Yet another fascinating vlog thank you! ❤
I look forward to your daily vlogs. Going through the breakup of my 6 year relationship with the man i thought I would end up marrying. We just grew apart. But watching your vlogs, you going through the meticulous and meditative processes, sticking to your routine no matter where you are, it's like a sign that consistency and discipline will help me get through this horrible time. Thank you so much Lori ❤
I adore the shot you got of them rehearsing Swan Lake from outside the door. So nostalgic for those of us growing up dancing who saw other dancers rehearse that way
You’re so brave, I’d be embarrassed to take a ballet class anywhere other than my -hypothetical- studio hahahaha surrounded by strangers, that sounds like my worst nightmare.
I watch all your videos but rarely comment, but that yellow jumpsuit looks sooooo fantastic on you, I had to leave a note! Also, today's food is making me crave good Mexican food SO hard. Hope you're having a great time, thanks for sharing!
Who else is cheering that Lori will performs with this ballet theater? 😍 I hope they will invite her someday 😍😍😍 Also, this green leotard on you Lori, looks stunning 🤩💚 And I still can’t get over the food there 🫠🤤
Chapultepec is ginormous and in sections. Near the castle is also the zoo, the lagoon and if you go toward the side of Constituyentes you will find Los PInos which is the residence of the Presidents of Mexico now open to public. I would highly recommend. If you cross over a bridge near there into the Section II you will find an amusement park and museums, more fountains ,etc. Mexico City is full of parks and museums, and so much history.
Again...what a darling outfit! You look so cute in all of your clothes! I live on the border in El Paso TX so the food is quite familar. Have you ever seen the Chinese ballet? They will be here again in a few days. Thanks for sharing..I always enjoy everything you record for us.
You make being a vegan look so easy and delicious 😋 Leotard is stunning, and the jumpsuit is so cute. A great outfit for the day ☀️. Thanks for sharing it all with us!!
I’m always curious whenever you take an company class if you’re compare your technical level to other dancers, but not in a unhealthy way!!! I see you as a really really technical and graceful artist and could easily see you standing out if you were part of any company. Just a technical curiosity (sorry if it sounds nosy!!) 🧡🌟 thank u for the vloggggg
Lori. I am grown up man, Im French and totally Normal. I dont really fancy young girls and I rather have good taste in women. You are absolutely stunning in all the possible ways... I can't say Im in love with you but your feminity, your dancing, your personality are attracting me. But trust me on that, you are gorgeous and your forehead or your hair line is enlighning and opening your beautiful face❤ Tu es magnifique ❤️
Do you ever talk to the other dancers? How amazing to be able to dance in other countries. Also, your videos always make me hungry for Mexican food and vegetables .
Hi Lori! Could you please share the brand & shade of the square lip duo / double sided little gloss you use? It’s so pretty 💞 love your vlogs, your athleticism and dedication is SO inspiring!! 💪 And thanks for sharing the castle it was STUNNING 🤯
Looked like a much more manageable class. The one with 50 people had to be wild. Looks like you fit right in there though. The yellow jumpsuit and black jacket was so cute. You looked like the latinas I have seen in Miami as a Florida resident back in the day. I don’t know fhay much about Mexico so it’s fun to see the places you go and what you order and like to eat as well as the various city spots and sites. It reminds me so much of Miami in a way but I think Mexico City is much more hilly from what I’ve heard and has actual deep history and not just American history. I had to almost stop in my tracks to see that you didn’t order the chilaquiles. I didn’t even know what they were before watching your channel and now am craving them lol. Your family finding great vegan options is great also. I like to see the ideas for recipes like the mushrooms used yesterday. I have a low income and disabled so have to cook my own food always but it’s fun to see what the food is and then maybe I can try to replicate it. Lol. I know authentic would be far better though. I travelled a lot at your age also and am glad you are having such a rich travel life. I also find it cool that you can find and blend well enough in studios all over the place and even in Mexico the old Vaganova name is holding true for a hardcore class lol. I really would love to know the difference it was between that class and the one at the National ballet. You seemed like the Vaganova one kicked your butt which is funny bc I know how strong you are. Have fun and tell your mom she’s a fun mom to be travelling on vacation together. How did you pick these two cities out of all the cities for visiting this time? ❤ Happy travels!
Miami has a history of thousands of years before the Spanish or Americans colonized it. Thousands of Native tribes lived in Florida. There are still tribes there. Erasing and replacing Native people is one of the most ignorant American things ever
@ the dance doesn’t remind me as I’ve not seen much ballet in Miami. I meant some buildings, cafes etc reminds me. Obviously I’m seeing it thru my gringa eyes but Mexico City is beautiful and the ballet folklorico and flamenco of course both having some things that seem similar to me. Obviously they are different places and far diff cultures but I just guess my white girl eyes are enjoying the beauty of Latin culture dancing whether it’s Mexican folkloric or Cuban flamenco which I saw in Miami and Tampa. Pardon my ignorance but credit me for not being a typical American who are often closed and not interested in international cultural difference in dance styles, movement, costume and history. I appreciate them all. Hopefully my white woman history won’t make you think less of me for being a person who was not exposed to much. My mom worked with a Cuban lady and I spent more time learning other cultures via family friends but sadly was raised in a mostly Caucasian suburb with occasional visits to Miami for museums and culture. I am happy to learn thru Lori about Mexico and am admitting knowing very little. The closest I ever got to Mexico was a brief visit to Tijuana at age 16. lol. Didn’t get much of a glimpse of real history and culture from the tourist market we visited. I now live in a suburb of Seattle area and there is Hispanic culture here but very little in my area to learn and be exposed to naturally. I know many Americans are quite ignorant so hope you will see me as at least interested and appreciating international and sub-cultures within a country or even within the dance and ballet community. To me the more we learn the less stupid crap happens due to ignorance and lack of exposure.
You changed it up on us for breakfast! 😂. It all looks so delicious! Question about dance class when you talk about attending classes sometimes you talk about having a Russian style class so what style class are you taking in Mexico? What is Café de Allo?
How do you support yourself financially? As a Professional dancer are you paid yearly or only practices and performances that are done by professional dancers! ❤
Hi Lori, I have a ballet question for you. You took ballet classes in NY and now Mexico, so are all classes co-ordinated in the same way? How does that go? Do you see ahead of time what you will do or is it just taking the instructions on the fly from the teacher? Were your classes in Spanish? Also, what do you put in your green smoothie? Thank you and enjoy the rest of your trip!
Yes the clases áre in spanish since she is in México 😅😅 She just goes and look for ballet classes at the places that she travels She is a Freelancer profesional dancer Means she has the Freedom to work anywhere
Ballet classes have a set order to them. The exercises themselves change each class. (Like, we always start with plie's, but the combination is different every/most days.) You learn the combos on the fly. You have to pick up/learn/remember everything very quickly! That was always hard for me, probably due to ADHD.
Lori I made a comment on some other videos and people got really mad at me for commenting that spin very sorry and I didn't mean to disrespect you like that 😢
Are the people at that company or any new place you visit usually friendly? I don’t see you talking much to the dancers. Do they usually just stay to themselves? Or do so come up and try to meet you?
Lori would you ever consider auditioning to be hired in a ballet company, in the States or abroad, or would you prefer continuing to freelance? Could you please motivate your answer? I am very curious to hear your opinion 🥰
Absolutely lovely to see a snippet of an actual class! 🎉
I LOOK forward to.your daily vlogs. THEY R SO AWESOME..and all the places and food you eat r just fabulous ❤❤❤❤❤
I am so happy to see your vlog! Love them all❤

I think thats just a human response, but its good to push yourself
I thought the same thing. I can't quite envision how that would be.
Your face lit up at the studio with the music. The food looks delicious! The yellow looks great on you!

Great vlog
Where is your sweatshirt from in the first clip? It looks so cool!
How do you support yourself financially? As a Professional dancer are you paid yearly or only practices and performances that are done by professional dancers! ❤
Where are your falling leg warmers from!? I’ve been looking for those forever
Do you have to pay a fee to join the company classes? Or are you essentially invited as a guest? Aka free of charge.
Yes she has to Paid for her classes
@@laurafabianmarrerohello, no that is not true. I am not paying for the company classes
Who takes care of walnut while you’re on your trips? 😊
I have a question. What music do you listen to on your headphones??
I would love to see you have a go at the pas de Balanchine trend!
I did that like two years ago when it was trending lol😂
@Life.of.lori. oh I missed the video!!

Are the classes in English or Spanish? I'm genuinely curious about this?
Spanish !
What was inside El Pastor taco?
Where did you get your sunglasses and your bag you use for ballet??
I'm jonesing for her toe shoe bag.😂❤❤❤
Café vegetal está a unas cuadras de mi casa 😅
Me encanto!!!♥️♥️
@ las conchas son lo más delicioso que hay!! Besos guapa!
Cuando vas a la clase de una compañía como invitada, te presentas frente a todos?
No, thank goodness. What a nightmare
Are you ever asked about your training or availability to join a company?
How often do you get asked to join a company? I wonder if this company would ask you after seeing you!
Have you ever injured or hurt yourself during warmups? From when you started to now?
Are you going to miss it there once you leave?
do you speak to each other in class?
I was just thinking the same thing.
What is cafe de olla? I need to know.
Try researching it on google. It can explain it better than me!! Basically it’s made in a special pot with a type of natural sugar and cinnamon!
@Life.of.lori. Thanks, I will. It looks strong though. But I like that.
What mascara do you use? Your lashes are so full and dark
I’ve recently been using the one from Benefit and loving it!!
@ oh I like benefit! Thank you

I would imagine being freelance and having a great sponsorship gives a lot of freedom to work internationally and with a variety of companies.
Do ballerinas ever wear black tights?
Yes, professionals wear them very often. I prefer pink but I am the exception 😂
@ oooo I see! I’ll keep my eye out for that
are you a Christian ❤
"I miss your pink. You'll always be in competition, but what do you think when you feel that kind of energy?"
Curious again, do you have a partner? I notice a ring on THAT finger. If that's too private, I understand, I'm just curious 🫶
She just explain in a video today she doesnt
It's in her Reels
Do you have to pay a fee to join the company classes? Or are you essentially invited as a guest? Aka free of charge.
No
she has to Paid
She Even has to send prove of her work
@laurafabianmarrero….I don’t pay. I know you mean well, but please don’t answer questions on my behalf if you’re not 100% sure. Thanks so much ♥️ 🙏🏻
