Smith got away with being passionate, yet CC got T'd up. Yup, no bias in the WNBA.

Please, who gives an F what Sue Bird thinks. She was right there with Taurasi at the beginning of the season talking about how the grown women in the WNBA were going to show CC how good they were. She and Rapinoe just need to go away. Neither is relevant anymore.

On their podcast DT laid out exactly what she would do to Clark and it happened from game one like DT stated. And Bird didn't go against it. Clark idols are terrible people it seems.

Swoops , Dinosaur T , the soccer washed out, ect are just happy to be in the headlines still,
But why are they in the headlines of social media???
Because of a firecracker from Iowa who has more class and maturity than most of them,
The most petty and unprofessional display of narcissistic post menopausal meltdowns in sports history has been ongoing

I like Sue Bird, but that’s bullshit. Do we now have to figure out how hard Clark needs to be intentionally bumped to determine if it’s a foul? Can anybody take a blind-sided shot at another player and say it’s great competitive action? If the WNBA wants to be taken seriously, they need to play professionally.

  • @prembasky

A Competitive push? A hefty fine and a ban for a few games should be the minimum cost for this kind of misadventure. Chennedy Carter, are you listening?

People need to stop justifying thuggish behavior on the court; they do it to Clark because she makes them look bad. The same thing happened to Jordan when he first started showing his greatness.

Truthfully who cares what Sue Bird thinks? These older players that are retired are now part of the past, so let's concentrate our efforts on the current players. As for Skylar, she deserves to be suspended...end of story.

I'm not sure what this video is about - suspension? just click-bait. That bump by Skylar on CC was such a little minor thing. I was kind of funny, but not any kind of big deal. I feel I'm wasting time on the video and I see comments here making this bigger issue than it really is. Very minor thing.

Actually if a guy did that in the NBA the player initiating the contact could expect to be decked. Women do this crap because they know women in general don’t fight back. Caitlin just ignores these losers.

    • @qt3dot146
      @qt3dot146 2 місяці тому

      Dude, get a grip.
This happens in the NBA all the time and virtually no one gets "decked". Draymond Green, Dillon Brooks, the Morris brothers, Grayson Allen, they all toss around career-threatening cheap shots, and other than Jokic taking out Markiff Morris, no one is stopping any of the cheap shots.
And although Caitlin is taking a lot of unnecessary contact, what she is going thru is NOTHING to what Jeremy Lin experienced in the NBA. Because he is Asian, he got HAMMERED every game and no one ever stopped it or even said anything about it.
All the WNBA'ers seem to just be miserable people in general, but Caitlin Clark fans are just stupid and think that she is the only one to get abused.
And your shortsighted comment just shows that you are just jumping on the bandwagon and know absolutely nothing at all about the WNBA or professional sports.

Beyond the tempest in a teapot commentary, one thing puzzles me. That being this act of petulance deserves a suspension, but Carter’s earlier assault was overlooked. Is it because the hazing hasn’t stopped?

Caitlin Clark will be remembered as being one of the best point guards ever to play the game. She will be compared to legends like Stockton, Nash, Curry and Kidd. Much like Megan. Sue will be remembered as a lesbian who played a sport, people will have to Google the sport. It's a fact.

Ok Diggins is a good guard, since she is outsmarted by Caitlin. Diggin’s hit or bump the body of Caitlin just to silence Caitlin from torching Diggins Seattle team. What a losser and dirty tactics from a considered best guard of WNBA.
On Sue Bird she had a change of hearth after denying and hitting Caitlin from Paris Olympic. She wants to have a share on this controversy.

It's hardly "in front of the bench" they were on the court at the edge of the paint, which puts Clark over 20 feet from the bench. This happened on the court during a time out, not on the sidelines in front of the bench. That ref that loves to give "T" in this game should have called one then. Furthermore, I would not even know Sue Bird exists if it weren't for CC, Bird needs to appreciate the fame brought to the WNBA due to CC.

Clark was shoved toward the Storm bench by Skylar Diggins and would have stayed closer to the middle of the court pumping up her fans. It is ridiculous that this league feels entitled to cry about Caitlin celebrating their win with the fans - as if she should just stay in the background and know her place. Well - her place is to transform a league that has fallen so far that it is promotes “physical” and thuggish play in front of small crowds paying low ticket prices. That is not the style of play people want to see - they want to see flash, passing, skill, running and splashing 3’s from all over the court. And they need to stop celebrating LGTBQ sexuality - that is not what women’s sports is and that is not who most women in the world are. What your sexuality is should not be at the forefront of any sport much less put front and center and celebrated on WNBA websites. Children and families should not be subjected to sexual identity when they go to find stats or watch a game on WNBA league pass. Unless of course, you want to be what the WNBA has been for the last ten years or so - an irrelevant fringe league that loses money and plays in front of small crowds where players cannot make a living on it.

This entire video is disturbing in its every word. The WNBA is not a compelling sports presentation for the fact that actions like those of Skylar Diggins and many others are found acceptable by the league. That attitutude is, at the very least, lacking respect, grace, and charm. Those are also the reasons that the league and more of its players can not induce endorsemnets and representation deals unless they might be from the WWE. For anyone in the WNBA to think that Skylar Diggins' actions are acceptable shows the pubescent junior high level of maturity in the league and it is just plain shameful. If you want to beat Caitlin Clark, try to do it with your basketball skills and basketball IQ and a winning graceful attractive carriage that is likely to attract more than flies. Caitlin Clark has her work cut out for her if she thinks, even for a moment, that the WNBA is likely to change its bush league belligerent attitude and demeanor. The WNBA has had 27 years of failure at being truly professional, 27 years. However, if anyone could cause the the WNBA to learn how to grow up, it would be Caitlin Clark, just by being Caitlin Clark. Hey, miracles do happen!

The difference between competitive play and outright assault on another human being isn't that hard to understand. How long before one of these mean nasty women hurts somebody bad and gets put in jail i Caitlin has worked hard for years to up her game. Larry Bird went through the same stuff but he was six foot nine so he could squash the meanness. Millions of people love Caitlin because she loves people and loves the game. If something happens to her due to these assaults the wnba will suffer because i truly believe a hell of a lot of fans will just stop watching their stupidity all together.
