Very useful series for beginners👌👌. I've learned basic descriptive statistics from your earlier lecturers on regression, correlation, anova and many more. Your lectures are not only easy to understand but also very authentic. Thanks a lot sir.

Excellent lecture, just one question: Where do you get your data from? Does it have to be an Excel or an SPSS file? Please guide.

@@researchwithfawad Many thanks, now that we are having this conversation I would like to benefit some more from your expertise. I'm sure others will benefit too. I'm actually conducting research on social media, more specifically on how online popularity is related with self-esteem. I'm measuring popularity simply as "the number of followers or subscribers". Based on the data I've obtained, I have devised 10 groups for categorizing my data as follows: Group 1 = 1 - 5000 ,
      Group 2= 5001-10K,
      Group 3 = 10,001-15K
      Group 4 = 15,001-20K
      Group 5 = 20,001-25K
      Group 6 = 25,001-30K
      Group 7 = 30,001 - 35K
      Group 8 = 35,001 - 40K
      Group 9 = 40,001 - 45 K and
      Group 10 = 45K or above
The majority of the respondents fall in group 1 and 2, some fall in 3 and 4, while some fall in 9 and 10. My question is, how do I label them while entering my data in the SPSS as there are no responses for group 5, 6, 7, 8? Should I label the data all the way from 1 to 10 irrespective of the missing groups? or should I label group 9 and 10 as 5 and 6 to maintain continuity (1,2,3,4,5,6) in the SPSS labelling? Sorry for a long, boring comment, but would greatly appreciate your help here. Best!

Hello Fawad, thanks for a great video. Can you suggest why one of the items is showing negative loading in SmartPLS like -0.512. However, the same factor is showing positive loading like 0.213 in AMOS. If I have the scale, how can I be sure if an item is reverse coded?

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  Рік тому +1

Pleasure. I am glad you liked it.
Please check the item with other items and also the source. If lets say out of 5 items four have one direction and 1 has another, then that one is reverse and should be reverse coded.

@ fawad sir on how many responses we can conduct cfa my smaple size is 330 how many responses should i take for that and one thing more if we have 2moderators. Gender and age should we also include them in cfa model

These concepts have been discussed in detail in context of SMART-PLS. However, the definitions remain the same for any software.
As for how they are used in AMOS, the concepts will be discussed in coming lectures. You can refer to Smart-PLS playlist to further understand these concepts.
      Please check this playlist.
