I'm Jain. India me jain population 45lakh approx hai. Most of Jains are very rich because all we do is business, business and business..Gautam Adani ji ko hi dekhlo..😂
Hindu religion se hmari bahut similarities h jese karma philosophy, rebirth, murti puja, sanskrit mantras etc. I believe sanatan dharm ka hi hissa hai jain bhi...kyuki hamre books me mentioned hai 21tirthankar neminath ji krishna bhgwan k cousin the, wahi hindu purano me bhi 1st tirthankar k baare me likha hua hai aur wo ikshvaku vansh ka sthapak bhi the, 24th tirthankar mahavir swami k alawa bahut se tirthankar kshatriya the. Sanatan dharm matlb purane time se chla aa rha dharm aur isme hinduism, Sikhism, jainism , buddhism etc shamil hai... Kyuki ye religion isi Indian dharti pr bnaye gye aur sadiyo se chle aarhe hai..sbki rituals aur principles alag hone ki wajah se alag alag naam de diye gaye..baki hm sb santani hi hai...
Uniqueness Jain ki ye hai ki iska major Base non violence hai that's why most are pure vegetarians..aur single goal moksha pana.
One more similarity with hinduism, aap ko bhgwan ko manna h to mano nhi manna to mat mano...
Rules nhi manne ki koi saza nhi hai...everyone is free.
Kuch logo ko misconception h ki jain log aalu pyaz lehsun nhi khate , suryast k baad khana nhi khate, garm pani pite etc etc... I want to tell you jisko khana hota wo khate h jisko nhi khana wo nhi khate... Religion me healthy diet and proper time prescribed hai bahut log follow krte bahut log nhi... I also don't... but purane logo ne religious rituals ko scientific tarike se hi btaya hai...jiske bahut fayde hai..aajkal dr. Bhi yhi btate hai for good health...
One last thing fasting bahut tough hai jainism ka 8din 30din aur varshitap tk log bina kuch khaye piye fasting krte hai kuch log sirf pani pikar bhi krte hai... I think sare religions me se sabse tough fasting.

Jains are the most peaceful people in the whole world. They never harm others. Their religion is as old as Sanaatana Dharma (Hinduism). Though they are hardly 80 lakhs of population in India and the world, they never complain like other minorities do in India. They eat only Vegetarian food and live in groups at one place in any city. I have seen these Jains once in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, peacefully rallying on their festival day.
Thanks to all the brave warriors of India like Rajputs, Jatts, Sikhs, Ghoorjars, etc., from northern part of India, who fought with the invaders and protected many artchitectural wornders of India. Because of these people only South India temples were protected to some extent as only few times these invaders were able to reach the south. Rashtrakootas (Reddy Kings), Pallavaas, Cholas, Pandyas, Chalukyas, Kakatiyas, Vijayanagara Kingdom, Yadava Dynasty, Odhra kings, Kalingas, etc., could successfully defend their forts and temples. However, at some places of South India were also demolished by the Muslim invaders, for example Vijaya nagara kingdom (Hampi). Hampi ruins are magnificent even today after the demolition, then, you can imagine its glory centuries ago.

I'm astounded! These constructions are stunning! The North West - Jammu, Himachal, Haryana, Panjab, Rajasthan, and Kutch - share a history and culture with the East, and I wish we weren't instilled with negative notions about our past. We haven't saved any temples or historical places. Many Havelis in Lahore have been demolished, and this by the government. Last year, I visited Sharda Peeth, which was also in poor condition. In Panjab, especially, everything has been vandalised.

Amazing’n’Brave Abrar. I really admire you, for letting us have a perfect simulation experience. I have traveled most of AJK and northern area, and it reminds me of my sweet memories, by roaming with you in India is a real sensitive issue
I had visited the Bombay (Mumbai) in 2006, along with my fellow colleagues, who did not feel the way I did, It was so heart breaking that at Chopati I felt this was also my land (not anymore). I was not a local or national there. These people, these streets and places were mine (not any more). No matter how much they plant hatred in us / between us. No body can make us apart. This is my experience.
When I see you exploring India I feel so attached to this land (which was once mine too). Literally I always cry (stealthily) when there is any connection with partition. My family is from Punjab, my parents did know about their relatives in East Punjab, Now its our time, nothing to tell to the next generation, and we do not know any thing about our separated families in India. Partition does not mean………, do not want to say.
Few days back I watched movie “Grandson of Sardar”. Most of the people it was kind’f a funny movie, for me it had some super sensitive issues , that were highlighted only for those who could feel. Most of the time I kept on crying.
God bless you Abrar for making us even more attached
Salute to Indians (Authorities, his Fans for welcoming Abrar, and facilitating him)

Many mosques in India are built upon temples, including the one in Ayodhya. Do you feel any guilt about it, what your ancestors have done or you think victor takes all? Or the times were different? Have you ever thought about how Hindus have suffered over the centuries in their own land and you still play victim card?

We are blessed to all those sculptors who spent their entire time making it. Seriously this is just incredible . And one more thing just look at the geometrical design of all the pillars in the Temple seems like someone took today's best marble cutting machine back in time to make this .

Both Hinduism and Jainism believe in reincarnation, i.e. cycle of birth and death.
Both Hinduism and Jainism believe in non-violence,
Both Hinduism and Jainism emphasise on consuming a vegetarian diet.
Both religions give importance to meditation.
Followers of both religions celebrate festivals like Diwali.

Ranakpur Jain Temple was constructed by a local Jain businessman named Dharna Shah starting in 1389. It was also patronized by Rana Kumbha and completed around 1439-1446. Quite incredible to see how this marble detailed structure predates many of the great marble buildings of Renaissance by decades. Goes to show how wealthy the Jain business community in Rajasthan was in medieval times.

But the islam fanatics genocided the jain community in pakistan, and destroyed all their magnificent temples and killed or converted their community, and so pakistani people never benefited from their business acumen, nor from their message of nonviolence and love for all life, and they did not get any tourism from their magnificent temples with intricate artwork. Great work @Abrar Bhai.
Fact check - Population of Jains in India is ~ 44Lakhs.
Major difference between Jainism and Hinduism is in the concept of God. Hindus believe there's a creator and destroyer of the world, while Jains believe there's no creator and destroyer, that the universe is eternal and it's existence is through infinity and for forever.
While food preferences is a major differentiator between the two, the reason why we Jains don't prefer underground veggies (Potatoes, Onions, Carrots etc) is the fact that these veggies have infinite micro-organisms, which are living beings. In the process of eating such veggies can kill those micro-organisms, thereby causing karmic activities to your soul.
These are just a few of the many differences, yet, we are closely associated with Hinduism, as the basic principles of Ahimsa (Non-violence) stems in the very roots of both these religions :)

Jainism duniya ke sabse purane religions mein se ek hai, Mahavir Jesus se 500 sal pehle popular hue the. Inke aur Hinduaon mein main farq ye hai ki Jains Mahavir ko aur unke 24 teerthankaro( religious teachers) ko mante hain - ye ahimsa ( non violence) mein yakeen karte hain aur itne zyada sensitive hote hain ke inke religious teachers aj bhi nak pe mask pehente hain ki germs na mare, jameen pe jhadu laga kar chalte hain ki insects pairo ke neeche na aye. Khane mein ye kand ( roots/tubes) aur non veg nahi khate.Jain Community India mein sabse prosperous aur respected communities mein se ek hain.

Jainism religion was born out of the lived experiences of the last Jain Tirthankar Mahavir who was born somewhere around 650 BCE during the time of Mahajanapads(16 great Kingdoms and Republics) and was a contemporary of Gautam Buddha. There are many sects within Jainism the most prominent being the Shevtambars and the Digambaras. Non violence is the most important tenet in Jainism as they believe even hurting an atom sized object is a grave sin therefore strictly vegetarian so much so that root nodules of plants subsist many tiny organisms hence they don't even eat anything that grows within earth and some even cover their faces with masks to prevent hurting tiny organisms which are floating in the air. Yes, They practiced masking way back before it was popularised by corona!!! Despite the religion having very strict and austere conditions there are many Jains living in India as the population census of 2011 quoted the figure of close to 45 lakhs. Hindus pay their respects and worship Mahavir too and believe him to be one of the pantheon of gods in the multiverse and the religious tenets of Hinduism too bears similarities with its Jain counterparts but it also has considerable and definite differences. 😃

As far as I know Jainism can considered the most strict form of Hinduism. It takes a lot of courage to be a Jain. They take the ideas of Karma and Moksha to an extreme level. The most extreme form of Jainism is called Digambara tradition. Jain monks who follow Digambara tradition don't even wear clothes to avoid any attachment to World. They also alway cover their mouth with a cloth so that they don't accidentally inhale an insect. They also keep a broom with them to remove insects from their path to avoid accidentally walking over them. Eating any root based food is prohibited because you have to kill the whole plant for it.
