Man I really appreciate your videos. I’m trying to learn as much as I can. Thank you for your teaching. Very informative videos. No cussing or nasty stuff either. Thanks Nathan!
Hey Nathan, so glad I recently stumbled across your channel! Really appreciate how you break things down to the nuts and bolts - the mechanics of fishing. Just a back to the core “why we love to fish and enjoy the outdoors” approach. Not a whole bunch of fluff, frills and you gotta have the latest ‘n’ greatest gear and stuff to fish. I’ve learned a lot of nuances to the craft from your videos that I hadn’t considered before. Thanks!
I always look forward to you videos. They are always informative and it gets me ready to go fish.I have that ame Core rod and can't say enough good things about it.Thanks again
Just stumbled on your channel. Realized I had seen another one of your videos before and I've got to say.. I'm impressed man. Just a matter of time before everyone jumps on board. Good stuff. Will be right up there with tactical bassin and randy
Going through your old videos after watching lures in October that just dropped. Need a cranking setup, your opinion best 6th sense rod under $400 an what reel you’d throw. I respect your knowledge enough to go with your choice on this loll no games. It’s just something I need to get better with going into the fall & next year. Keep catching em.
I caught my first large mouth bass yesterday on that orange lure just a little different in the eyes and thats what lead me to this video and they were pre swanning in a dirty lake made my whole day
Thanks Nathan. Spring and sqaurebills just go together. I do believe you glossed over rattles a little quick. There are strong feelings for and against rattles in spring. 6th sense hardbaits seem to be very good quality and to me coming with EWG hooks saves me time and money. I have been using EWG hooks on cranks for 20 years or so and lure companies are coming around, finally. Any opinion on the curve cranks (deep or shallow)?
Hey Nathan, fist of all I want to thank you for your content and also ask for help. I am learning how to catch peacock bass in south Florida and everything I can find is people staring at them and throwing a live shiners to catch them. I’ve been trying the artificial worms with Texas rig, caught 2 or 3 but I am barely getting bites any longer. My son is fishing with me and I’d to like avoid live bait for some time. What would you recommend besides what I am using and perhaps show some deeper techniques to fish ?
Notice that you did not catch a single fish until you were NOT firing straight at the bank and burning it back in. That's the exact mirror image of the guy standing on the bank doing nothing but blasting straight out into the lake. Never a good idea.
Exactly. I kayak fish and I hug the bank and cast parallel with it, I might be spooking some fish in the process but I get way more hook ups doing that than casting perpendicular to the bank.
Hey man, I'm also a NE bass fisherman. I live in NE Mass and fish kayak tournaments. Your content is top notch man. Keep the videos coming. Thanks for sharing. @pjb.customflies

I appreciate that!
So far this spring I've done so well with the chartreuse black Rocco

I’ve never used a 6th sense rod I’ve only used the cashion stuff as of recently but they have the core and icon crankbait rods!

Great stuff once again. Where were you at boss?

I see you like the Cashion rods. I live an hour away from their HQ where the rods are made.
Awesome!
That is my favorite color crank , I lost 2 of them lol I have to order another one
Nice!

Thank you! To be honest I have never fished for or caught peacock bass so I would not be able to help!
I can't fill my bait casters with straight floro. Too many bird's nests. I have to go braid with a floro leader. Also helps with distance. Thanks!
Nice!
What about knot used to bait?
What brand of line are you using on your sq bill crankbait for the 12 lb?
Seagaur invisx or sufix advance
Can we use crankbait in open saltwater ?
I don’t see why not
Don't use that crap Berkley 100% Trilene. 12lb is .33mm Seaguar Invizx or Abrazx 12lb is .28mm!
