My cousin has a Limited Flex, cant lie love the thing. The ride is so smooth, interior is dope, bucket seats are hella comfy and the Sony system is great. Maybe im weird but I like the way it looks, its unique. Sucks that Fords probably gonna discontinue it
Yeah rented one of these from enterprise, they gave it to me because they didnt have what I preordered… i thought it was ugly as hell.. but by the end of my trip i came away as a fan. Love this suv.
They really have not changed the ford flex since 2009. I have a 2010 ford flex and I see little difference between the older models compared with the newer ones. The only really noticeable change is the grill. Save 30k and buy a used ford flex. Totally worth it.
I’m a die hard Chevy guy but I rode in a flex and let me tell you it’s the first Ford that was comfortable to me and the ride was really good. I was impressed with it. Sounds like a winner but I see Ford is pulling it. Must of been too good so they pulled it. Such a shame. I think if more people drove one I bet it would open a few more eyes.
It is a station wagon and that is why I bought one. It needs the old 3 way tailgate to make it perfect. The base model that no one reviews has all most people would really want because it is far less complicated and gets it done. Who needs GPS when every phone has it. You can get a $30 dollar power inverter for 110 power and I got the cloth seats because have you ever seen leather after about 5 to six years yuch. I didn't need a sun roof because really who ever looks straight up when riding in a car anyway. A good basic wagon and that is what I love!
So for the new year, all they did is add a new black color. Looks like Ford is letting this thing die the way it is, since they are deleting the Flex in 2020.
Yeah it sucks they are discontinuing it. Im gonna try to get the latest model, hopefully i can find the EcoBoost version. I test drove both the non EcoBoost and EcoBoost flex and i can definitely feel the difference in take off speeds. It also feels like its working less harder with the Turbo engine pulling its passengers and cargo.
I'm glad I got mines, and I'm glad it's discontinued....why would anyone want to buy a 30 plus thousand dollar car and they come with a new one the next year. It's cool for cell phones (not really) but I would like to think I didn't waste money and missing something cause they made a newer one the very next year...some people.....
I test drove the 2018 and I had high hopes. The interior was just too small. I was hoping it would feel roomier but it wasn't. I loved the look of this car but damn did they screw up the interior in my opinion.
Personally I think the 3rd row is a waste of space. I'd rather be able to fold all those seats flat if not in use like the "stow and go" stuff fiat has. For as big as the car is, when I sat in it I felt cramped. Let room wasn't the issue, it was all the "bloated" seats, doors, etc. When driving it, I heard a constant whistling noise on the highway that was design related. If they fixed those two things I would buy in a heartbeat. When I look at this car I think, oh I could use it as my daily driver and to haul stuff. When I opened the back door up, I realized the opening was too small to fit my bicycles easily. At that point why not just get a sedan with a big trunk? Ford really has a slick design with this car but they need to refine these things. Really make use of the room in there. Don't fill it all up with cup holds and plastic crap. looked tacky.
Nice of you to respond. I have been driving a 1997 4.6L Ford Thunderbird for 20 years now. I want a new car badly but I look at the Ford line-up and feel like every car is purposely knee-capped and just falls short of something I could fall in love with, like I did with the T-Bird. It's always the little things. I have hope for Ford's future, though. With their aluminum frames making cars lighter, 10 speed transmission should help with fuel efficiency and some of highest HP engines on the market for V6 range. However, all that gets wasted when they screw up the designs! :)
No problem! If you don't mind us asking what are you looking for in a vehicle? From your last comment we know you want to be able to haul stuff and your bicycles. Anything else you are looking for in a vehicle?
And hasn't been refreshed since 2013, so I have no clue what this guy is talking about "brand new". It was brand new literally a decade ago, and refreshed mildly, and didn't get all the updates the explorer did. No wonder the explorer outsells it 12:1. I like this better than the explorer, but they didn't keep it up to date.
I wouldn't say that there is a con with it. Honestly it was hard to tell the difference when it first arrived. We will do some digging and let you know what we find to better answer your question.
Uggh the fucking wood grain!! Nasty 🤢. Could they mix more colors in on the interior? Multiple black textures, multiple different tan colors, matte black, chrome, woodgrain, silver, ..... i know i’m missing about 5 other colors
I have a 2009 Ford flex limited and her name is Flexy she’s Bad assssss love this car 😏 she’s the only car that I’ve had that’s turns me on when I turn her on 🤣😂🤣😂 lol 🍻

I love it too!
Will be discontinued in 2020

Yeah, I guess I'm weird too. It looks like a classic wagon
If you have a family with 3 or less kids I highly recommend this vehicle. I’ve had my limited Flex since 2014 and we absolutely love it!

Craig Rinzema Any issues with your water pump?
Ya no difference but the wife just went from a 2013 to a 2019 lol
Props to the salesmen. Good job on the presentation!
Thank you!
Just rented a Flex drove it 2,000 miles and plan on buying 1 this summer. Love the room and power.

My flex is a 2009 built in 2008. It still rides very well.
Kinda sucks Ford could never really find buyers for this gem and is being discontinued.
JJimenez never bearing discontinued buying one in 2 days
Well it is a jem
JJimenez, hopefully this video helped out with your purchase!

My God that headlight mine would have just exploded on contact from that hammer fist
I got 2 of them its likke a 6 second car not bad awd handles good too just hard to stop at high speeds
Weird flex but ok
Honestly I am impressed with this comment. Kudos.
Any more going and whats the best thing about the flex
I have that identical flex minus roof racks. A true sleeper.
This car needs to come to the UK
"Awright guys"!
6 cup holders for a 2-3 person seat on the 2nd row...
Not many changes from my 2014 flex
Horsepower, torque, transmission, towing capasity?
Is the third row sun roof opens?!
New easy ⛽️ cap system???...my 2012 flex has it
Alright guys..
If they made them all like the limited and charged the base price, they would sell a ton, but noooo, they have to nickel and dime you!

No motor?
Hello, can anybody help me. I bought yesterday a Ford Flex and I have many questions :-) regards Bettina from germany
I loved that car
Does the front passenger seat back fold down?
It has been 10 years of the same body style for this car and what’s the point of ford making the flex when they have the explorer
Kim Cook the explorers 2nd row is a lot smaller and has less storage in the back.
Good job Justin..
Awesome car! I want one
We have plenty!
Is good on gas

What did you feel they could improve on? Like leg space, more cargo room etc?
Personally I think the 3rd row is a waste of space. I'd rather be able to fold all those seats flat if not in use like the "stow and go" stuff fiat has. You bring up some really good points.

I want that watch he got
Ford will discontinue the Flex by 2020.
I'd be surprised if it is still available by 2020.
It been available since 2009....I would say it has been a long run.

Lol you were right the 2019 was the last
Stop saying “alright guys”
Is Agate Black Color metallic?
The Agate is not metallic.
Thank you. Do you know any cons and pros of the Agate Black compared to the Shadow Black that it's replacing?
I wouldn't say that there is a con with it. Honestly it was hard to tell the difference when it first arrived. We will do some digging and let you know what we find to better answer your question.
Thank you, I just don't like metallic and I was hoping it wasn't.
Your welcome, we cant blame someone for wanting to get the car that they want and like.
Bro, you ok? Looks like you pinched your finger 2:53
Uggh the fucking wood grain!! Nasty 🤢. Could they mix more colors in on the interior? Multiple black textures, multiple different tan colors, matte black, chrome, woodgrain, silver, ..... i know i’m missing about 5 other colors
The chrome handles look like shit. Chrome and satin finish don’t flow together
I have a 2009 Ford flex limited and her name is Flexy she’s Bad assssss love this car 😏 she’s the only car that I’ve had that’s turns me on when I turn her on 🤣😂🤣😂 lol 🍻
