Okey ..i wonder how these meats are cooked as meats cook differently and duration also differ.???Eunice ? Can you please share the recipe for jolof traditional one.
Most Kenyans may not enjoy Nigerian food as Nigerians tend to mix so many foods to make their soup. That kind of food is termed as " mashakura" which is a funny slogan. For instance, Kenyans will NEVER mix fish, chicken, beef and goat meat in one cooking pot. Reason: These are tribal foods. Fish is most preferred by the Luo's. They like tilapia, omena, etc. Other Kenyans from other tribes will not really experiment a lot with fish. Some don't like the smell of omena. Chicken is mostly preferred by the luyha's. Again they like their chicken prepared in a special way. Beef is preferred by masaai Goat is preferred by Kikuyu Rice as much as many people in Kenya take rice, the Swahili people like cooking their rice as biriyani or pilau or wali wa Nazi. Other tribes imitate this and cook them in restaurants or at weddings or in events but most don't get it right. I can cook pilau or biriyani at home but it will not be as authentic and tasty as when a Swahili cooks it. Kenyans in general have a different food culture. Our economy also may not permit people to even mix more than 2 types of meat in one cooking pot.
ugali varies in oughness, those made from maize and sorghum are alittle bit harder though it depend on your preference. then that made of cassava is soft and streachy. then my personal view, i feel like these two females are not being sincere but looking for a way to trend. i dont feel them being genuine
The only thing i dont like is the way you people mix different meats ,,doesnt bring out the taste of what you are eating and the red oil,,try making egusi with just one type of meat then i loved it
Well, mixing meats is even one of the main ingredients, Nigerians don't use one type of meat to cook and that's cultural for us. We like mixing beef, goat meat, chicken, livers and all
I looooove it !!!
