I think Tom portrayed the different types of Clarks incredibly. My favorite is Red K. Tom was very good at acting angry bad boy roles. This role made him twice as hot as he was. Tom should have been in a much better place in the TV series industry. I love him. He is my celebrity crush.
The fact that chloe saw something was off with that ring just shows how she always looking out to make sure clark is safe

Except that it affects Clark a little differently. Not like making him look like he's in a drugged state or anything. Unruly yes but not what you would call high.

I actually prefer the red kryptonite on this show than any of the others. I just think it's kinda cool about seeing Clark losing all of his control and inhibitions.
Me too honestly red Kryptonite in Smallville and Supergirl were done so well because I liked how the red k made Clark and Kara angrier and showed their hidden feelings

My favorite episodes were usually the ones involving Red Kryptonite in them. We got to see Clark in a whole different way.
Green Kryptonite weakens/kills him Red Kryptonite changes Clark's personality and strips away his inhibitions and makes him really unpredictable Black Kryptonite splits him in two Silver Kryptonite makes Clark Crazy/paranoid Blue Kryptonite temporarily takes away Clark's powers/abilities Gold Kryptonite takes away his powers "permanently" and Clear Kryptonite doesn't do anything and it's completely harmless to Kryptonians.
And pink kryptonite makes superman gay

Aside from Green, Silver and Gold Kryptonite are the most dangerous versions of Kryptonite imo
And so as white kryptonite due to the fac that it is said to kill all plant life. Even Poison Ivy would be weary of that kryptonite worse she would get real angry if that white kryptonite were to kill her precious plants.
This show was historical it introduced everything from all the different types of Krptonite to all of Superman’s super friends to all his arch nemesis’s
The movies never went that far all we got was Zod and Lex we never got anything else. Also it’s worth noting that Superman 3 should have used Red Krptonite to turn him evil not Green.
For any TVD fans Clark on Red K reminds me when vampires or vampire hybrids like Stefan, Damon, Elena, Caroline, or Hope turn off their humanity and like Clark takes away their inhibitions and just don't care about anything but live their immortal lives however they see fit, it's crazy no to see the similarities especially if you're a fan of both TVD and Smallville.
If Red K invalidates his inhibitions, the guys in the bar would end up in Nebraska, not 10ft away.
CW budget constraints, writer uncreativeity and FCC regulations are the real Kryptonite, here.

the very best prequel Superman show ever made Clark Kent on his way to becoming the man of steel while never choosing to don the cape. Because it was centered more around Clark getting his powers and learning about them than him becoming Superman.
i agree.Tom Welling put it in his contract that he refuses to wear the superman costume ....they tried to change his mind but he never budged . thats why the series finale is completely cgi of him wearing it.
i like how out of the seven Kryptonite's Clark was exposed to he was only exposed to the silver Kryptonite once. Smallville season five episode seven 5x7 "splinter." but maybe that's a good thing because if he got exposed to the Silver again Clark's friends don't have one of those egg beater things like Milton Fine/Brainiac had to get the piece of Silver Kryptonite out of him.

It's well known that kryptonite is Superman's Achilles heel. This makes him more human instead of being seen as a god. It's interesting to note the different effects each has on him. Superman's greatest asset is his character. He deeply loves those near and dear to him😊.

Lana is so much smarter and more about self preservation than anyone else gave her credit for.
Lana from this show was always more compatible with Clark Kent than Lois Lane was. I don't care what anyone says that Clark and Lois were destined to be soulmates. Lana and Clark have a deep love for each other before she knew his secret
If you look at the overall picture, as in the show over its entirety, Lana was mostly about self-preservation. Lana found out from Lex that Whitney strung Clark out as a scarecrow in the cold to freeze to death. Lana still went back to Whitney. Lana always came up with an excuse to not move forward with Clark. You're full of lies. You're secretive. Clark asked Lana to leave Metropolis with him when he was on red kryptonite. Lana refused to go. Lana did not accept Clark when he was at his darkest and needed him a lot.Clark picked up another woman and brought her along his Red Kryptonite experience. THEN Lana gets jealous. Lana did not go to Metropolis because deep down inside she knew that was not for her. It was where Clark Kent wanted to go. Lois even said it, "They call it Smallville for a reason." On red kryptonite Clark confesses he wants things that others have. Clark is not only destined to travel the world, he wants more out of his life than Smallville. Lana would never have worked out for Clark because Lana is a Small time girl and Clark is bigger than that.@@galslovveme

the episode of Smallville Smallville season two episode four 2x4 "Red" Clark got exposed to Red Kryptonite for the first time. on the Commentary for the episode the creator's of Smallville Miles Millar and Alfred Gough said the idea of Red Kryptonite and the way it works is the longer he's on it the worse he gets "Red Kryptonite" is like a drug the longer he's on it the badder he gets and he just keeps getting badder and badder. Red Kryptonite changes Clark's "personality" strips away his "inhibitions" and makes him very "unpredictable" Clark he usually bottle's up his feels and his emotions and he won't tell people how he feels or what he really thinks of them but the Red Kryptonite brings this stuff out of him. if Clark doesn't like someone and he's exposed to Red K and on the Red Kryptonite he'll actually tell the person the way he really "feels" if he doesn't like them and doesn't have a very high opinion of the person "consequences" be dammed like how in the episode "Red" he told the principal at Smallville high his dress code sucks and he shouldn't be giving fashion tips or when he told Lionel Lex didn't want him living with him at the Mansion or in the season Six episode "Crimson" how he told Lex if he knew the kinda person he would turn into he would've let him die on that bridge. the good thing about that scene in the episode Crimson was he didn't say it because of the "Red Meteor Rock" he said it because he really meant it. i know some people hated the Red Kryptonite episodes but i like them all they were all good especially the first two episodes of season three Smallville season three episodes 3x1and 3x2 "Exile" and "Phoenix." i like normal Clark and Red K Clark but i think Red K Clark is better normal Clark is a goody two shoes.

It's a TRIP HOW the shows creators fused Margot Kidder and Christopher Reeves into this series. And the different color Kryptonites was original. I was running the streets too much or at work to have caught these episodes in the early 2 STACKS.
I really miss watching Smallville, a lot of the episodes I don't remember watching, of course there was a time I was hooked on Crank and was really out of it most of the time and even if I did watched all those episodes, I was to high. But thank God I'm not like that anymore, been 13 years since the last time I used, 13 years clean. Now does anyone know where I can find all the seasons of Smallville?

It all keeps changing. In the fifties red kryptonite has different effects each time but each piece only works one time. I believe white caused amnesia and other effects but it could affect him more than once. Blue was created for the bizarro world created by the food duplicator same as bizarro. If you don't know about the food duplicator you're too young. Green was the last one from the fifties. And yes over the years they keep changing so much. For instance his costume. It was made from the three blankets he was wrapped in in the space ship and ma kent unraveled them and knitted him a play suit that simply stretched as he grew. The lenses from his glasses are kypton glass. The remnants of his rockets windshield after the leftover fuel exploded destroying most of the ship. It's why his heat vision doesn't affect them.

Smallville season four episode 12 4x12 was either "unsafe" or "pariah" I can't really remember which one it was but i think it was "unsafe" the Alicia episode with the girl that could teleport was good and i liked it but the only thing i didn't like about it was the plot hole where they never explained how Alicia knew Red Kryptonite changed Clark's personality. in the episode when Clark asked her how she knew about it she just said she knows everything about him but the explanation was bs and bullshit and just lazy writing by the "writers" i'm sorry but i don't buy the explanation it doesn't make any sense because the only people on the show who knew about Clark's secret and the Red Kryptonite were Clark's parents and pete. now in that episode the writers could have easily fixed this mistake and plothole in the episode about how Alicia knew about the Red Kryptonite by adding some dialogue to the script and having her say she knew about the Red Kryptonite because She read about it in a diary or journal Clark had kept and i would have brought that and it would have been a believable explanation.

Kryptonite bothers in my general, but more so in Smallvile, or the lack of any reasonable scientific explanation. It's just said a certain color does a thing, and that's it. All we can do is maybe assume; if it's all radiation-based then Silver and Red give off radiation in a certain wavelength that affects brain chemistry, Green must just cause significant damage to cells in the same way radioactive elements like Uranium does on humans...Blue and Gold must cause major mutations to DNA. Otherwise, Clark and Zod are still Kryptonian on a DNA level, and should've still been transported. But then with all of this, if humans can get abilities from Green K, it must cause mutations to a human's DNA too.
Black K just seems magic-based.
I'd love to be enlightened.
