According to big scholars as imam Al Ghazali and Bediuzzaman Said Nursi it’s not music itself that’s haram, but the possible content of it. Some scolars do think it’s haram, but not every scholar, so be respectful please.
I never read anywhere in the Qur'an that music is forbidden.

There the matthew 28:19 does not contain the trinitarian formula for baptism, and it is well known from bible scholars that it was added later not found in early scriptures. So anything new!?

We can't say it's false because we know it was originally a revelation from god (Allah), and we don't say it's true because it was corrupted and altered. Now we have a Quran, which is reiteration of all previous massages, and it is preserved as it is the last massage from god.
