Justin, all your lessons are gold but this one is the shining star among all of them. I've figured out that step up chord progression using string 5 as the root as well and can now play endless loads of jams using the chords from these. This is wonderful. Thank you
you are a great inspriration not many players take the time to help wanabe players keep up what your doing and the way your doing it . it makes playing a lot easier
Justin, you are an awesome teacher. Very clear and accessible explanations. I actually donated a little bit to your website, and will continue to do so as I progress. Please keep up the good work!
Could you do some other mini grip variations Justin? They work well with 7 string guitars as you can have some lovely open voicings using the lower string and a mini grip to avoid clutter. Keep up the good work! :)
Ever considered making a lesson about playing minor 7 and major 7 chords without the 5th note (only 1, 3 and 7)? Playing progressions like Am7 D7 Gmaj7 Cmaj7 F#m7(b5) B7 Em7 E7 really becomes a peace of cake in that way.
If I had been shown this lesson in '67 when I started playing...who knows? Outstanding!

Thanks Justin, just getting so much out of your lessons. You teach things and tricks as you call them, that a personal guitar teacher does not.
best series ever
