Were there any direct to video Steven Seagal movies you were particularly fond of?
Also, check out Brads' reviews for these new movies released last weekend:

Belly Of the Beast comes to mind.
Sniper: Special Ops is hilariously bad.
Snob.. I met your 20 year old doppelgänger yesterday. I wanted to get his picture. It’s the 3rd time I’ve seen him. So I will get a picture for you
@@calebdehart6651 : Directed by Trash Movie Star FRED OLEN RAY.
Into the Sun, especially for the Steven Seagal composed soundtrack.
"Starring Steven Seagal as Doctor--" and that's where my suspension of disbelief evaporates.
When he wears glasses he goes into doctor mode
Maybe some doctors just practice martial arts in their spare time. A good fighter trains both their muscles and mind.
@@christophercaldwell192 Like Tara Reid in Alone in the Dark.
@@HedonisticActor Kung Fu masters in China were often doctors as well 🤣
I buy Arnie in Junior as more credible doctor than Steven Seagal here.
"Sir we found a cure for the deadly virus. It's these flowers made into tea! How should we distribute it to the town?"
"Just dump them from a helicopter."
"Ummmm....shouldn't we synthesize them first? Or at least preserve and package them?"
"Nah. It'll be fine."
Holy shit Brad, did you actually cameo in the series finale of Empire? That's so awesome!
So that's the real reason Lloyd has a spotlight show, a long game to show your background roles.
Seriously -Brads a super star now-- won't be long now and he'll have his own show on tbs - start dating super models etc... etc
He'll probably forget about us little people 😑 not that he's ever responded to any of my comments to begin with
Johnson Johnson he’s married to a super model
@@desi1790 ohhh I know I just meant like multiple
So Empire and the Cinema Snob are the same continuity, confirmed.
In later movies Steven Seagal does not actually walk, they just move the sets around him and the bad guys run at him from the front so all he has to do is wave his arms around.
Pretty soon Seagal won't even move his arms. They'll have to hire a 2nd boom operator to act as a puppeteer.
@@fattiger6957 He'll only lift his arms if its to grab some chicks ass.
He needs two horses to walk like John Goodman.
He doesn't even wave his arms anymore. They have body doubles for that now.
It's wild, because today, Steven Seagal's political leanings closely resemble the ones held by the dudes he fought _against_ in this movie.
Back when I was at University I worked part-time in a bookshop. We used to have a middle-aged guy come in a lot, really friendly, affable guy, everyone knew him as Elvis. Anyways he doesn't come in for a few weeks which is strange. When he next comes in I asked where he'd been, he told me he'd been filming a movie with Steven Segal. My reaction to this was "Yeah sure," and thought nothing of it. Few months ago by and he brings me a copy of a DVD, turns out the guy's real name is Chooi Beh and sure enough he was a villain in Out for a Kill. Really weird seeing a guy I sold magazines to being decapitated by Steven Segal.
The Cinema Snob is the top in the critical analyst field, BUT Lloyd provides the needed spice to make this video a full course critical success. Please do not ask me to explain that comment.
Rip Lloyd 😿
I've seen and reviewed all of Steven Seagal's films on my channel...I love the old school films of Seagal (Out for Justice, Marked for Death, etc. even The Glimmer Man I enjoyed)...but let me tell you... If you ever go down the road of the Pantheon of Steven Seagal Direct to Video flicks for Snob Reviews?
Trust me...you'll have a LOT of material to work with Brad.
Black Dawn where there is literally McDonalds wrappers on the dashboard of the vehicle he is driving. Submerged with Seagal saying the immortal line "Cocksucker Motherfucker!" Attack Force where they destroy the virus by throwing a grenade and blowing up the computer. Today You Die which steals footage from movies like Top of the World with Peter Weller. And much more. You'll have a field day.
Like most doctors he's taken an oath to "do no harm... except with wineglasses, that crap's awesome!"
I love these movies complete misunderstanding of what the Founding Fathers believed in.
Not so different from similar assholes today.
They are exactly like other extremist groups, anything that contradicts what they WANT TO believe is totally ignored or deliberately misrepresented.
"...He's got big "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed" energy."
that's the hardest I've laughed in a while
The bag guys are buying some time by injecting themselves with disinfectant
lol I almost died laughing
So that really was Brad in the "Empire" finale. Congrats on making your TV debut.
Wait wait wait... There was a time when Stephen Seagal could do more than one face?
It was a time long ago. Legend has it he will someday make other faces again, but his followers still wait even to this day -_-
I guess the fat stopped up his facial muscles.
Those are the effects of drinking too much that magical flower tea. For most of the people it give you some fucked up trip, but for Seagal, he makes some differentes gestures.
Yes that was when he did his own walking and standing scenes.
The guy playing the villain is best known for being a goofy side character in Ernest movies. And he seems to be doing really good acting here, he seems intimidating! He's certainly acting circles around Seagal, but that's not saying much.
Oh my god, I watched this movie with my grandparents at some point; literally the only thing I remembered is the helicopter flower dropping scene, but I remembered it really well for some reason.
I remember watching this movie probably 15 years ago. It was late at night and I thought it was the Mel Gibson one. To give the movie some credit: the camo wearing jackholes who start a deadly outbreak because "the real America is being taken from us!" are not, I repeat, NOT the good guys.
So, yeah, late 90's Seagal and not mid 2010's Seagal...
as bad as this movie is it's still way better then that Mel Gibson shitfest
Does the movie ever explain why Seagal's character is such a badass fighter? I mean, he's just a doctor. Does it mention he served in the military or something? :P
As far as I can remember, no. His connection to government agencies is the only explanation or rather implication as to why he would have those fighting skills but I don't remember them having a scene with an R. Lee Emery type explaining how badass he is like in Deadly Ground
just watch walker texas ranger, it will explain everything about the 90s
@@manticorephoenix that actually was R Lee Ermey in on deadly ground
Maybe he visits the octagon in his spare time :p
@@dinobravo1998 yes I know, that was the first movie I was introduced to him
It’s based on “The Last Canadian”. Then why isn’t this a Zap Rowsdower movie?!
Rowsdower!!!! Rowsdower saves us and saves all the world.
Blame CANADA! Blame CANADA!
Troy’s dad was Larry Zanca
I wonder if there's beer on the sun...
It says it's based on “The Last Canadian” but it doesn't have anything to do with it, except that there's a deadly virus. Kinda weird.
1:37 I love how Seagal’s frustration tantrum goes from _Full Anger!_ to _meh, I’ll just bump this water cooler_
Binge watch "Parker Lewis Can't Lose". I did after watching your video on "The Stand" and I can say it was worth it.
Have you done “omega man” yet? Because that would be perfect in this situation.
'The Last Man on Earth', 'Omega Man', 'I Am Legend', 'I Am Omega'...any of those would be fine!
@@weedongding I Am Legend is kind of mainstream for this show. Especially since it's not a religious film and it's not really a horror film.
"It means if you don't do your homework,I'm going to shoot this pie."
XD
Have you ever seen Omega Doom staring Rutger Hauer? It's a trip of a movie! Hauer's enigmatic style is really what makes it watchable. I'd love to see the Snob's take on it!
So you have succumb to the Segal virus. You have my sympathy.
Hahaha, I loved the quick reference to Sniper: Special Ops.
For those unaware, the editor of that movie is Ryan Mitchelle.
God, I would love for you to review World War 3. Loved that TV movie.
11:34 - I'm with Lloyd - what?!
IoEstasCedonta double WHAT
@@Zelkova0234 triple WHAT
I couldn't resist liking every one of the reactions to that. That was insanely awesome. I love seeing clips of people like the Cinema Snob in shows or movies out of the norm
You totally need to do those movies. I want to see David A.R. White kick ass. Glad you're staying safe in your war room.
Thank you Brad for making this video. I've actually been waiting for something like this!
I wonder how long it'll be before we get a Snob review of OUTBREAK.
of course a book called the last Canadian gets turned into a film set in america called the patriot
The weird part is other than the virus there is not a thing in common with the novel which is listed as a post apocalypse novel. It is a guy going into the deep north when he hears about am airborne virus.
Answer Lloyd! ANSWER HIM!
SNOB!? What are you doing in Empire?
Was that really him?
@@gentlemann2458 I believe they film Empire in Chicago and Snob lives in Chicago now, so yeah.
I had to do a double take, holy shit.
He's playing the un-credited role of "Reporter".
@@gentlemann2458 yup
You realize you have to eventually review World War III now, Brad.
Lol, did you really cameo in an episode of Empire? That's awesome. Also for some reason I thought this movie was 'On Deadly Ground' I kept picturing Seagal having a bar/hand slap fight with Mike Starr :)
Holy shit never thought I'd hear anyone make a reference to Sarges Heroes on the N64
M-O-O-N. That spells a whole town full of Tom Cullens!
Under Siege is the only Seagall movie I've seen. I'm content using that for context of his high points.
Lloyd -> 11:22. He really blends in well with the Empire cast in that profile photo. ROFL
Wait so is this casting for him as a doctor the equivalent of Denise Richards in Bond?
Also no film opening with coffee is as epic as ROTOR.
Or Tara Reid as a doctor in Alone in the Dark.
Is it sad that Denise Richards as a nuclear physicist named Christmas is more believable?
@@johnoneil9188 oh yeah...oh noooo
Should have known you would tackle this movie sooner or later! 😎
Now it is time to wimp out your Snob “The Chuck” Norris moves on Seagal their! 😉🤣
The number of Lorenzo Lamas jokes in your recent reviews reminds me that I need to get around to watching all of Renegade.
I was just about to mention that I was getting Ghosts can't do it vibes. When you beat me to it.
Move over Schwarzenegger, here comes the true classic action star:
Steven Seagal
I just did a SeagalAthon, Perfect timing Mr.Snob.
Magical Flower Exposition Helicopter will be the name of my next band.
I am old enough to remember when SS made kick ass action flicks 😜
This is a really REALLY weird remake to Mel Gibson’s Revolutionary War Movie
Still more historically accurate than the Gibson movie.
It only feels weird because they cut the “British Bio-Weapons Lab raid” storyline from Gibson’s Patriot Movie. Once you see those deleted scenes, everything makes sense, as the combined fever dreams of 2 Hollywood “stars”
Eh, the other Patriot was about an American terrorist militia group just like this movie.
@@SuperDevolution Mel Gibson was playing a real person. And the British really did send a particular guy after that specific person. I think they changed his name in the movie though, and I don't think the British guy killed his sons.
It's more like a "pre-make".
Steven Seagal is playing a doctor and this isn't a porn parody?
Let’s talk about this bad movie...also, I was in the finale to Empire...no big deal...let’s talk about this bad movie. So, Steven Seagal...wait wait back up...
4:30 “There is some ambitious camerawork here”
Interestingly, the DP for this movie was Stephen F. Windon, who is a regular DP for the Fast & Furious franchise.
Don't leave us hanging man.
Did the pie make it?
Now, tons of people are going to go and raid their local Teavana stores. THANKS, BRAD!
HA! Jokes on them. They've all been closed for years now.
@@mightyfilm oooh, then they'll just raid their local Starbuck's.
11:35 - Lloyd getting right what Janis Peebles couldn't in "A Talking Cat!?!".
I love how this is based off "The Last Canadian" which is kinda a Canadian version of "The Road".
I love how it's a super American movie based off a book called, 'The Last Canadian'
Lmao, hope to see more Seagal movies
Had some worries, but this was a really good review. Thanks Snob
Those new? glasses make your nose look huge, solid stuff as always.
In Canada nowadays, the Army gets called to change the diapers of senior citizens in old folk's homes, among other things. Try to get that into a movie!
cool review....wait Brad was in Empire?
2:28- Yeah, I'll stick with THAT movie, thank you very much.
3:05- I bet you're gonna review that movie in 2024.
3:26- And absolutely no Trump cameos.
5:38- Ha, I'm having myself a bottle of Baja Blast while watching this.
6:48- Thank you for the Ernest reference. Now how about a Fried Green Tomatoes reference?
8:18- Speak the hell up, Seagal!
9:39- Reminds me of that bit you mentioned in your Bloodsucking Freaks review about a mother saying that the movie upset her child.
11:38- I saw this on Twitter, but I didn't get why everyone said it takes place in the Snob Universe until now.
13:25- I was also thinking of Rambo: Last Blood.
14:43- LOL
Steven Seagal clearly should have played the Robin Williams role in awakenings
I was always bugged by the fact they could have at LEAST put the flowers in bags and not all over the damned ground.
Steve Seagal's character slamming that guy against a wall had me cracking up as much as when I saw Wolverine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine did an elbow shot to Gambit in The Nostalgia Critic Review
The best work that Mitchell ever done is in the TV Show, The Grimm, for the amount of people that remember a show that ended two years ago, I would say that had become a very obscure TV Show, but very good never the less.
A Steven Segal movie!? How many body doubles were used in his place and was his voice dubbed? Was watching Film Brain’s Segal month and Shadow Man stood out to me, mostly due to the huge amount of doubles used, also in some scenes they shadowed his body to cover the fact he was thick lol.
That's 2000s Steven Segal
This is pre half past dead Seagal
So how many body doubles and voice doubles of Seagal are there going to be in this film?
Why was the 'World War III' movie trailer title so squeaky?
Because the human race is up against rubber duckys
@@Jar0fMay0 duckys
We need more reviews of Steven seagal movies. That guy is so cheesy.
Literally. He has become so fat that his face emits cheese through its pours.
90's Steven Seagal is best Steven Seagal.
Early 90s Seagal.
Ah, Steven Segal; the Pauly Shore of action movies.
Lol perfect
Have you never seen In The Army Now?
Andy Dick is the Pauly Shore of action movies.
@@choosybeggar3309 He's more like the Tom Green of action films.
@@03bgood Tom Green is actually funny
Is it the time we finally get the ‘Revelation Road’ review? YEEEEEESSSSS!!!!!!!!!
So, why is the militia guy still alive after so many people have already died from just being in contact with him?
Michael right it makes no sense
He took a walk through the flower fields the day before, it slowed the virus down :P
Maybe he has a resistance to it.
Prolly because the movie needed it to happen, but failing that maybe it's because he's chubby, so it took the virus longer to travel through his body? I mean, 90s thinking and nobody that I saw in here was chunkier than him.
Check out "Derailed" A Van Damme movie that has a smallpox outbreak on a train, I believe. Love your channel and wish you the best.
My brother's wife was an extra on empire too!
Isn't Amerigedon a comedy special by Christopher Titus
One of his best.
Oh my god revolution road is coming I'm sufficiently hyped
What's more absurd? Steven Seagal playing a super Kung Fu Chef in Under Siege or Steven Seagal playing a full-blooded American Kung Fu-Fighting, Farmer Doctor in this movie?
Steven Seagal as a chef obviously. Have you seen that man('s waistline) in the last 15 years?
@@fattiger6957 I would think a chef would be more believable in that case.
RIP Little Richard
Good job!!!
Anyone else think that when Seagall took that wineglass, and broke it and stabbed that guy in the head was rather impressively cool? Lol
Lmmfaoooooo fuckin ive seen enough Neil Breen to know you're gonna have to destroy that laptop! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m fuckin hype now I’ve been waiting for a Revelation Road review
Oh my fuck, that Landon Rickets reference got me.
Wait... he snaps the wine glass at the stem and jams the broken stem THROUGH the skull. Is... is that possible? Putting aside wether the shard was sharp enough, is a glass stem strong to penetrate BONE? Now I need to research.
I would say yes, if it's like absolutely, perfectly straight in.
With all of the rdr2 references when a western scene happens, he should review the wood rocket parody
Neal Maxwell Wait, wood rocket made a Red Dead porno!?
Snob, stop referencing Neil Breen movies if you aren't going to review his other movie!
How has it taken this long for seagal and snob to join forces?
Day ii posting every day until another loyd video review
Hey Brad, can’t think of any Seagal movies, but I do have a recommendation for the future. A movie called Assassin 33 A.D. came out recently; it should be on Amazon or UA-cam. Think Ray Bradbury’s A Sound of Thunder, but instead of hunting dinosaurs, it’s about assassinating Jesus Christ. Give it a shot, even just for your own entertainment!
I agree with Lloyd. What!?
Wow was that you in the Empire clip, or the Dean from Community?
Wtf was cinema snob actually in empire!?!?!?!?
This feature really needs a stand off in the same vein as in Deadly Ground where Seagal teaches Big Mike a lesson in the bar. Change Big Mike for the virus or the comic relief from the Ernest movies that says i need time to change. Also Seagal doesnt need no god damn antidote other than his fists and epic ponytail.
Why was Brad at an Empire party?
👏👏👏 for the Joe Bob comment
