My guess is that the f throw was more favorable for regaining advantage, in grand finals your opponent is probably mashing optimally so you're not going to get a lot of great combo options from a relatively short bury. On BF he also has most of the stage to up-throw into a kill (probably why he didn't change stage), plus its King K's highest damage throw. I don't think he was ever in a position to kill with back throw either. Whatever my opinion as a K Rool main, if KirbyKid says something different about K Rool, take his word for it not mine!
Because dthrow is overrated IMO. It's great at higher %, but other than that it is about reads. Upthrow is better for dmg and Fhtrow works at very low % plus gets opponent offstage. Bthrow is self explanatory, easily K.rool's best throw.
Both comments here make total sense. I've seen Zie break from burries and grabs insanely fast even at high percents and that's why kirby kid has used it at times against him. Zie's reaction time's insane .

Because Zie has insane mash. Kirbykid uses dthrow against other players; just not Zie.
