I have always been so impressed with DD toolkit. I want to make PJs out of the toolkit bag. I think you're going to love the wax. I really love this canvas. Great choice. When? I just bought one 2 months ago and the drills were not good. Have they updated since then? I desperately want them to get better drills, but I can’t keep investing in the old ones.
They are indeed resin drills and hand charted (I find some of their artists' pieces are more obviously hand charted than others, so I think the level of hand rendering is adjusted to fit the artist). I actually have both these kits that you got and an older one (Loneliest Night) on my wishlist. My experience with Dreamer Designs has been very pleasant. I haven't had as bad gapping as people repeatedly say they have (maybe because I single place?) and I've always been happy with my canvasses. Their customer service team is also amazing.

I purchased my first 5 Dreamer Designs kits a few months ago. So far ive completed 3 (2 round and 1 square). The square kit had some gapping. I know thats a deal breaker for a lot of people. I found it easier to multiplace drills both vertically and horizontally, which i prefer. Their 310 drills were pretty trash prone, but i expect that with every company. I also enjoyed the 2 round drill kits. The one from their warehouse had more spacing than the one from the overseas collection, which i wasnt expecting because they had not announced any changes yet. Overall, my experience was good and I plan to purchase from them again. Dreamer designs has recently tightened the grid so im interested to compare the changes.

I find them to be misshapen, gappy and lackluster on the shine. I won’t even buy a square from them anymore because I found them to be so frustrating. It upsets me too, because I think they have the best artwork of all the DP companies. I hope your experience is better than mine was. If they got better quality drills, they would probably be my favorite.

I myself have done a lot of Dreamer Designs and have had no trouble. My favorite artist is Kurtis Rybovich. I have a collection of his.
They recently updated their square drills and tightened the drill field so I think you’ll have a great experience! Excited for you !

Yes they r resin drills. Supposedly the drills and drill field has been updated. Should be a tighter grid now so squares don’t have so much gapping.

I have a couple of Ivan's. Most recent " vision of the past". And I like it. I'm not sure how I feel about using AI yet.
