@@evaready I was following his career in his early days plus listening to his interviews. He did state that he was in Baltimore at first doing his thing then Bounty killer told him it was time to take his skills back to Jamaica. Having returned to Jamaica he then starting producing for other record labels even jam 2 productions. Fallen soldiers was what got him recognition then after he kept up the consistency with a slew of hits like duppy know who to frighten , our world with elephantman and other songs. There was a time when him and Mavado had friction and Mavado had the audacity to diss him. DeMarco said in the interview that he was very instrumental in Mavados career. He then listed the riddims on which he Mavado made hits even mentioning mission riddim! That's when u know DeMarco had lots of talent. He may have infact made close casket riddim for SSMG productions. After realizing he was so talented he started doing his own thing. His production label is True gift entertainment. I originally thought it was Starkutt records .Still I dont think he gets the recognition he deserves.
