they do have a funky noir element to them! i'm glad i'm not the only one who noticed and thought that. if there was ever a psychological thriller with 30's noir undertones to it, this band should do the soundtrack.
I love those guys but I'm really not a big fan of the background singer's voice, especially considering that's all she does there. I think she sounds pretty off during Pearly Gates (the guy on the keys does a much better job). Still a great set, I love how the live versions of the IAPU songs are always so jazzy
Some notes were flat during this performance (the mix is really bad here too), but she’s great live (seen them twice) and their voices complement each other really well, especially when she, Meg and the piano player are harmonizing/singing counterpoint. And the background singer absolutely NAILS Navy & Cream.
thank you thank you thank you soooo mucho for bring U.S Girls to the channel! (what about an "What is my bag?" whit Meg Remy?) I really love this girl, she´s so fucking awesome on live!!!
I might currently be on mushrooms but I'm pretty sure this is fantastic. Super tight and fun!
It actually IS super fun and fantastic. Thanks for watching and have a safe trip.
Oh, it’s FUN AND FANTASTIC!!
@@peterpinsent9304 If you say so.

Would love to see a 'What's in my bag?' featuring US Girls.
your wish has been answered
Yeessss!!! Absolutely loved the latest album
first song is a bomb 🔥✨
album of the year bayabay!!
Discovered them in 2022 and omg, pure fucking gold.
Woah, this band is a lot tighter than I thought they’d be. I think I gotta see them live.
the queen
When they make a funk noir movie of my life, I want this to play in the credits.

They're lasted album is so great
Amazing, hoping for a What's in my bag?
Very full energy, these are people who really like what they make
like the live performance more than the album itself
I love the 90s hip hop vibe of Pearly Gates
Yeah, song is great but is also sounds kind of familiar. "Just hit the east side of the LBC on a mission tryna find Mr. Warren G."
what a bizarre way to sing. its beautiful
Oh what a unique rendition of 'Sororal Feelings'. Really nice arrangement.
Yessss Pearly Gates!!!
This the version on Lives🥰🥰🥰

Her face looks like hers (with no make up on obviously)

And Jodie Foster on backing vocals
M.A.H. sounds so familiar though i can’t pinpoint what song it sounds similar to. anyone have any idea?? maybe its the chord progression on the chorus
